19/04/2025: Die Einrichtung ist eher modern.
Der gegrillte Octopus (keine Schuhsohle ;-) als Vorspeise war klasse. Die dicken Nudeln mit Ragout als Hauptspeise waren super lecker abgeschmeckt und die Rotwein-Empfehlung spitze. Das Nougatparfait war auch gut...die intensive Schokosauce - die man so zum Garnieren kennt - war hier aber unnötig und zu dominant.
Der Service der Kellner war immer sehr flott und aufmerksam und alle sehr freundlich.
Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Speisen auf hohem Niveau.

23/04/2025: This is our favorite lunch place in Ischia. We go there every day we're in Ischia and this is going on 20 years now. The family who runs it is nice as they come. Everything on the menu is terrific but my favorites are the bruschetta and pesto pasta but you can't go wrong with anything here. Be sure to get the wine with peaches.

13/04/2025: Historic institution in Ischia, very kind staff and very high quality food. A special note on the croquettes, one of the best I've ever eaten.
16/03/2025: Rotisserie with typical Ischia dishes, such as Ischia rabbit (good but too greasy and immersed in oil) and various vegetables. The main problem was the lack of transparency on prices: when it came to the bill, we noticed discrepancies compared to the menu, with an increase of €2 on the rabbit (€30 instead of €28) and of €0.50-1 on other products. This, combined with the disappointing sausage and the overly greasy rabbit, negatively affected the overall experience with no more than 3 stars. The total bill of €55 for rabbit, vegetables, potatoes, sausage, water and focaccia did not seem justified to us.
Positive note: the boy as waiter was very kind and helpful.

Sublime food, well cooked, of excellent quality and plentiful. A beautiful location and an amazing view of the Aragonese castle. The certainty of the success of an event.

04/02/2025: Very good address suggested by the owner of our rental. Marco, the waiter, from Chalet Primavera offered us a sea bream for 2 people, accompanied by spaghetti, tomatoes and basil. We come from Saint-Brieuc (Northern Brittany region, in the northwest of France), a country of fishermen and we love fish. The dish was beautifully cooked. Thanks to the cook, Thanks to Marco for his good advice, for his kindness and his extreme kindness. Furthermore, we arrived at 2:50 p.m., quite late, and we were lucky enough to be placed on the terrace facing the Arragonese castle. We ate to the sound of the lapping sea. Truly a wonderful place.

04/11/2024: Locale caratteristico in quel di Idchia Porto,personale gentile che ha fatto di tutto per rendere piacevole la serata procurandoci un tavolo in un punto buono,consigliando il vino giusto,preparare un piatto, una porzione, seppur specificato sul menù che era per minimo 2 persone, e dulcis in fundo, la pastiera fuori menù tralaltro buonissima. Quindi, le pietanze, seppur nella media,ci sono sembrate eccellenti, consigliata la zuppa di cozze con crostoni

11/04/2025: Umberto whoever you are. You must be proud. Excellent food, the bucatini with mussels and pecorino was a consolation that went through all five senses. The smell of basil prepares you for the intoxicating initiation, with fresh mussels and the contrast of pecorino. After various tastings, the final alchemical touch of the fennel digestive. Congratulations to the staff, we will be back. PS. Quality/price in harmony.

11/04/2025: If it were up to the younger waiter who is super nice, polite and helpful the score would be higher but since they struggle to issue a receipt... I didn't like the response I got. Rude and know-it-all, mocking as if it were wrong to ask for a receipt (they issue a pre-total which is not fiscal and therefore prefer cash)

13/04/2025: *Be very careful if you have allergies!!* I came here 2 years ago and ordered a gluten-free, lactose-free pizza which was great and came back today and ordered the same. I asked the waiter, *3 times*, in Italian, to please ensure there was no lactose or cheese, as I am allergic (not intolerant). He brought the pizza and I double-checked again, that there was no cheese or lactose. He reassured me there was none.
I took 2 bites... and realised there was cheese. Eek! This is very scary for me as my throat tightens up. When I asked him if there was cheese, he said, 'no, but there is Mozzarella'. When I pointed out that Mozzarella *is* cheese, he said that it wasn't. And so the conversation continued... The motto: BE VERY VERY CAREFUL OF THIS RESTAURANT if you have allergies!!

31/12/2024: I took a portion of potatoes and waited 20 minutes but the potatoes were not good and looked like they were not cooked and the waiter was playing the phone and the table was dirty and there are cards on the table and on the chair. You will never return.
11/11/2024: Good morning, I came repeatedly with my friends to Mecledon, the food was impeccable, the Chinese gentleman was very kind but there was a lady to whom he said "you are not the center of the world" and it wasn't very nice. For the rest top❤️☺️
