Pizzeria L' Impero

08/08/2025: A great experience to try the pizza. We had fried fish, mussels with peppers, and cruschi peppers. Everything was delicious. The staff was also available to recommend dishes and quantities. The price was fair.
03/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria, very welcome

17/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't review the food since I haven't tried it, so I'll give it an average rating. Unfortunately, I can only rate the atmosphere, since I've been there, and the service, since I called to inquire about an aperitivo. Since the person who answered me was decidedly arrogant and annoyed by what he called stupid questions, despite the busy season, I don't think it's a valid excuse to respond angrily to potential customers. I left a negative review and was threatened. With this, I'm returning my review, so I'm truly evaluating something I've experienced. Have a good day.
10/08/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the older lady serving us, who was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Furthermore, every process—from ordering to payment—is incredibly slow and seems completely disorganized. The cleanliness of the pier also leaves much to be desired. Overall, it's not a place we'd happily return to.

Ristorante Pizzeria La Baia di Rocca Imperiale
Rocca imperiale
28/07/2025: There are places where you can sense, almost in the air, a noble tension: the desire of young people to do well. To innovate. To stand out. This is one of those places. And for this very reason, the disappointment is even more bitter.
The service? Impeccable. The young people in the dining room move with grace and respect. Sincere smiles, disarming professionalism, a customer service that, elsewhere, would be rare. They are the ones who, for a moment, keep the dream alive.
But the rest... the rest crumbles. The appetizer arrives like a faded echo of real cuisine: more like a shelf item than a culinary creation. The pizza—if we still want to call it that—is a caricature of itself. No structure, no soul, no flavor. Calling it pizza is an injustice to every pizza chef who understands the meaning of the word "leavening."
And finally, the bill. Pricey not because of its value, but because of its disproportion. I spent less by eating fresh, well-cooked fish the day before. Here, however, you pay for the intention rather than the result. But intention alone doesn't satisfy.
A wasted opportunity, then. A restaurant that wants to, but doesn't succeed. And this isn't due to a lack of heart—there's plenty, visibly, on the part of the young people—but to an invisible chain that links aspiration to inadequacy.
You leave with a strange melancholy: the kind you feel when you glimpse talent, only to see it betrayed. Or, worse, held back.
13/06/2025: From Lecce we catapulted ourselves to this quiet place where I found the best and freshest dishes in this restaurant. I highly recommend it
