08/06/2025: I can't review the food or the service.... But about the environment I can say that rudeness and unavailability are their strong point. They almost didn't let us enter the place (at 9 pm!) because when we arrived, they "were too busy"... Something I've never heard of, but there were only a couple of people in front of us. It would have been much more elegant to say that there was a bit of a wait and at that point we would have chosen whether to stay or not. But you don't send customers away.

24/05/2025: My friend and I came across it by accident on our way to the airport. We were very pleasantly surprised! Fantastic service. Delicious pizza 🙂 I recommend it!!

The pizza is excellent: light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients enhance the flavor without weighing you down. The fish also deserves special mention: incredibly fresh, carefully cooked, and impeccably served. The service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed, ideal for both a casual evening and a special dinner. A place that combines tradition and authentic flavor, definitely recommended for those who love good food.

Our expectations were amply rewarded; while our home was too cramped, his space was truly captivating. Cooking remains his greatest dream, and our greatest satisfaction. Bravo, Max.

06/05/2025: Attratto dalla recensioni positive ho voluto provare la pizza, ho preso un trancio di margherita e onestamente mi ha deluso, poco saporita e un po' molliccia. Proprio l'impasto, che a quanto avevo letto, doveva essere il punto di forza, a me è invece sembrato il punto debole. Sono tornato un paio di mesi dopo, credo che dare una seconda chance fosse doveroso, stavolta con mio figlio. Abbiamo di nuovo preso al margherita, la giallorossa ed il supplì. Stessa sensazione della volta precedente, anche il supplì mi ha poco convinto.

04/08/2025: A beautiful location, with ample parking in the olive grove, an outdoor courtyard with furnished lawn, an excellent restaurant, and friendly and professional staff.

01/08/2025: A truly enchanting place, with a beautiful, meticulously maintained garden. Beautifully decorated both inside and out. The food was beautifully presented, with attention to both the appearance and the quality of the ingredients. Excellent service; the waiters at our table were truly courteous and polite. I commend the owner for his attentive staff. The prices are truly low for the quality of the food. I couldn't have made a better choice. A great place to spend an evening outdoors. My only suggestion: I suggest expanding the selection of white wines.

21/03/2025: Era uno dei pochi locali aperti in città fuori stagione. Siamo stati "ingannati" dai prezzi sul menu messo su The fork. In realtà i prezzi sul menu che ci hanno portato nel locale erano 1-3 Eur più alti su ogni portata. Il cibo senza lode e senza infame, non era male ma nemmeno qualcosa di ricordabile. Per sbaglio ci hanno portato le polpette dicendo che facevano parte di antipasto, ma nel conto erano separati. Il conto 64 Eur per 3 primi, un antipasto (in foto) e vino di casa.

05/04/2025: La Rustica does not need reviews, presentations and further comments. Rustica is loved. An institution that has always been for all people from Lamezia (and not). Without a shadow of a doubt the best pizza by the slice in Nicastro. The case is closed.

12/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on August 10th for pizza in Catanzaro. We had a grilled Tomino appetizer and two traditional pizzas, the Silana and the Calabrese. The pizza was delicious, the appetizer excellent, and above all, the welcome was very warm. We highly recommend it to anyone near Catanzaro Lido. Plus, we were outside, so it was really cool.
