18/04/2026: First time at this refuge, the welcome was excellent. The interior is very compact, while the outdoor seating is more spacious.
The dishes are simple and accompanied with polenta, although I personally prefer taragna or uncia polenta, while here they serve the classic yellow polenta.
The "Belvedere" walk is beautiful.
A must-try...

13/09/2024: Fleisch auf heissem Stein mit Kartoffeln und Nudeln mit Steinpilzen. Wir sind oft in dieser Gegend unterwegs aber so etwas schlechtes haben wir seit langem nicht mehr gegessen.

04/10/2025: We spent three exceptional days. The staff and manager were attentive. The setting is magnificent, a haven of peace; you won't even want to move.
We also ate very well, with products from their own plantations, very well prepared. We'll definitely be back.

Very well located for visiting lakes and the botanical park.
