14/12/2025: Historic mountain setting, once serving the now-defunct ski slopes. Now a vassal of the Auxologico hospital in Piancavallo Oggebbio (VBO). Located in the heart of the Val Grande, it could be the starting and ending point for excellent and relaxing walks. The traditional food is average. Prices are just above average.

The opening hours are incorrect.
The store is closed, at least at this time of year.
04/10/2025: At Risto Bar Hemingway in Oggebbio, I had a truly delicious pizza, with a light and flavorful crust. The atmosphere is made even more pleasant by the splendid lake view and the always friendly and attentive staff.
A welcoming place that I happily recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy good food and an enchanting view of Lake Maggiore.

22/04/2025: Pranzo pasquale con i parenti. Siamo stati trattati benissimo, ottimo ambiente e soprattutto menù (carne o pesce, a scelta) decisamente buoni! Rapporto prezzo qualità ottimo; oserei dire: imbattibile. Prima del pranzo abbiamo fatto una richiesta per motivi particolari e siamo stati subito accontentati. Non è da tutti neanche questo particolare…

27/07/2025: This is a lovely spot to stop for authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced coffees, €1.20 for an espresso and €1.50 for a latte. This is a popular local spot, the antithesis of a tourist trap, an authentic, pleasant experience.
16/06/2025: Beautiful location, good service - food was lazy. Just stop for a drink, the pizza and Caesar salad was well below average. Worst pizza I have had in Italy.
