08/07/2026: My wife went there on Sunday with a Polaris Viaggi tour, they had a great time, the staff were very kind and knowledgeable, the risotto alla milanese was excellent as was the second course, the spiced potatoes a little less so... but charging 4 euros for a bottle of water... IT'S EXAGGERATED with 4 euros you can buy almost 6 bottles of Rocchetta water... then when they accept groups throughout Italy, water is already included in the price... you don't pay extra... if you want people to come... it's not enough to be in a great location, prepare well the dishes... respect for the customer is also important!
01/07/2026: Lovely, versatile menu. We had pizza for lunch. Truly some of the best in Italy. But I also looked on enviously when the neighbor was served a big, thick steak. Fast and friendly service. Nice and free parking. It is probably recommended to book a table. We came for lunch right when they opened and got a table without a reservation. Definitely recommended 😋

30/06/2026: This is a cool, chill beach bar where you can enjoy a refreshing drink while listening to great chillout music.
We usually went in the mornings and found a breezy spot with cool drinks downstairs.
Highly recommended!

25/04/2026: We had several delicious meals. All were very good and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and attentive; they even asked about any allergies.
23/04/2026: We walked there in very warm weather. The restaurant opens at noon.
Unfortunately, we didn't get any drinks because we didn't order anything.
The gorge and St. Anna are worth a visit.

23/06/2026: An incredibly beautiful restaurant with professional, friendly staff. The food was fantastic and the value for money unbeatable. Located right on the lake with a beautiful view. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and the excellent service!
22/06/2026: We only had bruschetta as a starter, but I can't recommend it. It was absolutely packed, so the service was probably stressed, but "attentive" would be an exaggeration. It was incredibly loud, which I guess speaks both for and against the place. It wasn't worth it for us.

12/10/2025: Exceptionally good food. I always go here when I'm in Cannobio by bus. It doesn't open until 12:00, but it's usually very busy!
11/10/2025: I've known this restaurateur for about 30 years. Back then, at S. Agata and now at Ponte Ballerino.
I enjoy strolling there in the afternoon and enjoying cappuccino and cake.
I only know his hot food at lunchtime. It's delicious Italian "home cooking" in the best sense of the word... always say yes... go for it when there's still something in the pot... the price/performance ratio is right... always, so far...

15/06/2026: Very friendly, funny waiter, beautiful location, the food was delicious; we had vitello tonnato, melanzane, saltimbocca, and ossobuco. Good value for money.

15/05/2026: Unfortunately, the food was served barely lukewarm. The lasagna had absolutely nothing to do with Italian cuisine; bland, tasteless, simply a white mush with no substance. The salad was carelessly piled wide on the plate, presumably to make it look more substantial. The service was friendly and attentive, but couldn't compensate for the poor quality of the food. The house wine was good, but too warm. There was clearly no passion for Italian cuisine.
04/05/2026: The food was not good. The fries were barely fried, the hamburger was barely fried meat in a bun. It's rare that I don't finish it, but this one was inedible. The carbonara was tasteless, with 3 small pieces of bacon in it. We answered nicely but honestly when they asked why we didn't finish it, but then the waitress got angry.
Too bad about the nice location...

26/05/2025: Fabulosa comida en un bonito entorno en las afueras de Cannobio. El plato de pasta era muy especial, así como mi gran filete. Carta de vinos y menú de bebidas.
Lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fueron los propietarios que eran muy amables e incluso nos dieron un aventón de vuelta a nuestro hotel ya que estaba lloviendo.

Après 1 heure d’attente nous avons reçu
notre plat dont le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas du tout juste!
Le patron était très désagréable, il a tourné des yeux tout le temps. Après avoir reçu des couteaux pour couper les pizzas, le patron les a enlevé sans commentaires.
Nous n’allons pas retourner dans ce restaurant.
23/03/2025: Tolles Lokal, leckeres Essen, freundlich Bedienung und jedesmal eine Freude bei LAURA & PAUL Gast zu sein :-) Ich gehe öfters hin und bin jedesmal Begeistert von dem leckeren Essen und dem angenehmen Ambiente.

31/03/2025: Das Essen im Pontile war so ausgezeichnet, dass wir gleich 3 Mal dort zu Abend gegessen haben. Die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich, speditiv und sehr kompetent. Die Speisen waren äusserst lecker, ansprechend zubereitet und angerichtet und zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Wir können das Pontile nur empfehlen.

01/05/2025: Un luogo tranquillo ma elegante, ordinato e silenzioso immerso nel verde di un fondo valle a pochi minuti da Cannobio.
Diciamo che la cucina eccelle per i raffinati sapori che lascia al palato veramente ben elaborati dagli chef.
Il vinello che ci hanno proposto è stato uno spettacolo, uno Schiava del Trentino, buono e fruttato.
Il prezzo vale quello che si mangia.
La qualità è sicuramente nei loro obiettivi per soddisfare il cliente.
