13/04/2025: We were guests for 1 night, we had booked 3 weeks before specifically asking for the Genziana room with the canopy bed for a romantic birthday weekend. Despite confirmation taking place both on the phone and via email, upon our arrival the room had been assigned to other guests of Casa Fontana.
The only alternative proposed (besides their inappropriate suggestion to change the structure, which was infeasible at 5.30pm) was a standard room (at the same cost) with 2 single beds and without a balcony.
Despite their admission of the error (which can happen), nothing was done to remedy the inconvenience, neither an apology nor a discount (extra payment of a coke and a bitter of 9 euros in total was required).
Very nice location, shame about the welcome and lack of customer attention.
P.S. There is no WiFi and the connection is poor.

21/04/2025: Siamo venuti all'Alpe Crampiolo per una gita Pasquale fuori città, e ci siamo ritrovati in un piccolo paradiso. L'accoglienza di Fiore all'agriturismo è stata fantastica, ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Il cibo è praticamente tutto di loro produzione o fatto con prodotti locali, e sia la cena che la colazione sono state veramente ottime e soddisfacenti. In più la cornice in cui è inserita questa frazione della Val d'Ossola è veramente mozzafiato!
Non vediamo l'ora di riuscire a tornarci!
20/03/2025: Posto favoloso e accogliente il personale molto gentile e disponibile...e i piatti....mamma mia un esplosione di sapori pazzeschi tutto ma proprio tutto ottimo dai gnocchetti con fonduta dei loro formaggi alla polenta con tri di carne......lo stracotto si scioglieva in bocca....ah il prosciutto crudo affumicato spettacolare e per finire i dolci ..... veramente buoni..... BRAVISSIMI .... torneremo di sicuro

10/02/2025: We had lunch with two adults and a little girl at the guesthouse. The dishes cooked well, welcoming environment and good service. In my opinion perhaps a little expensive.
09/02/2025: Rustic guesthouse on the Devero Alpe plain, therefore in a splendid position. Welcoming and clean, it is a cross between a hotel and a refuge.
Excellent management, helpful and friendly.
Excellent cuisine, wonderful strudel, excellent Ossolani gnocchi, polenta and game.

15/02/2025: Let me start by saying that this is NOT a place for influencers and digital creators or something similar, it is not even a place for those who expect a hotel like the Palace in Gstaad. The Antica Locanda Alpino is a genuine place, where time has stopped and where everything smells of wood. This is an old-school refuge, with a wonderful view of the Alpe Devero plain and where you can eat wonderfully simple dishes, two first courses and two second courses on the menu, those who want plating and the starred chef please stay away. In a very short time it has become my/our spot at Devero
13/02/2025: Great place for three days under the snow in a corner of paradise.
The Locanda is a corner of the past, here it seems like we are in other times, we also enjoyed the simple cuisine but with a taste of fantastic local and typical products.
Go there and you will see that as soon as you pass the tunnel you will be in another fantastic world where you can enjoy the sound of silence.

20/05/2025: Valutazione molto negativa. Cibo accettabile, servizio pessimo, basso rapporto qualità/prezzo. Una cameriera (Kelly) molto gentile, ma l'altra, Elena, molto sgorbutica e poco attenta al cliente, non ci ha fatto sentire per niente a nostro agio. Sgarbata anche nel prendere le ordinazioni.... Alla fine non ci ha permesso nemmeno di dividere il conto perchè il totale diviso il numero di paganti (3) veniva con il 7 periodico... come se 0,30€ su un totale di varie centinaia di euro cambiasse qualcosa... imbarazzante.

17/11/2024: In totale relax avendo trascorso l'intera giornata alle Terme di Premia, ci imbattiamo in questo ristorante pizzeria. Locale un po' datato negli arredi ma tipico di montagna. Abbiamo cenato con carpaccio di carne al gorgonzola e noci, bresaola alla valdostana e dei magnifici gnocchi di castagne Walser ( di questi c'è stato il bis). Tutto buonissimo, ma i gnocchi non perdeteveli. Prezzi nella norma per la qualità del cibo.

gentilezza e cortesia, insieme alla rapidità del servizio lo rendono un posto interessante
i gnocchi all'ossolana, con fettine di formaggio locale adagiate sopra, sono una vera delizia, mega porzione
buoni anche gli altri piatto
il vino della casa, più che dignitoso

04/01/2025: Piccolo ristorantino ben curato e pulito.
Mangiato bene ,prodotti ottimi ,personale gentile i prezzi sono veramente nella norma e onesti..il menù non è vastissimo ma ci sono sono i piatti della zona quindi va bene...ci torneremo sicuramente!
02/12/2024: Che bella esperienza mangiare qui! Abbiamo trascorso un ottimo pranzo, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Eravamo un gruppo di 8 persone e siamo rimasti tutti stra soddisfatti. Piatti semplici e genuini, dai buoni sapori, con poche spezie generosi nella quantità! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente, magari ad assaggiare la pizza (ci dui abbiamo sentito parlare un gran bene)

PIUTTOSTO,SE NON C'È POSTO DA ALTRE PARTI, UN PANINO!!! MA MAI QUESTO POSTO. LOCALE FREDDO,GNOCCO E TAGLIATELLE AL SUGO DA BRIVIDO, POLENTA CRUDA, TAPELUCCO SCHIFOSO... DOLCI CHE SEMBRA DI MANGIARE UN PANETTO DI BURRO, NEANCHE IL VINO ERA BUONO... COME ACETO. PAGATO UNA FOLLIA.. .NON CI ANDATE!
02/01/2025: Bravo à Fabio de pour sa cuisine sincère et authentique, c’est excellent ! L’accueil est chaleureux et montagnard, nous avons séjourné 3 nuits, salle de bains neuve et bien chauffées et grande chambre propre, simplicité authentique, bravo et a bientôt
Point de départ idéal pour la randonnée à ski ( local ski, chaussures etc, partez ski aux pieds)
