23/05/2025: I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel and restaurant.
First of all, cleanliness, rating 11 out of 10. The building is old, but everything has been renovated, every corner is clean, bleached to perfection. The linen is spotless, as if just from the store, the towels are snow-white.
The restaurant is wonderful, the breakfast was with high-quality products, like in an expensive restaurant.
There is a comfortable parking space, accessible for large cars, which is rare for Italy.
The interior is very pleasant, with notes of antiquity and novelty, a wonderful combination of quality and taste.
I would like such service to be everywhere.

04/04/2025: I stayed at this property and I must say that it was a wonderful experience thanks to the availability and kindness of the owner.
The single room is spacious, quiet, welcoming and very clean.
In the morning I found an abundant and sweet breakfast!
Really everything perfect!
Very recommended!

05/04/2025: As run by an "old acquaintance" from high school, I can't be objective.
The place is clean and tidy, well maintained and valid. Excellent coffee and lots of courtesy. I remain neutral on food as I have never used it. Classic ambience of a well-run bar.

20/03/2025: I was the other Sunday, I had two sandwiches, quite large, friendly staff.
But I see the kitchen worker who enters the bathroom wearing black gloves which are used to touch food and ensure hygiene.
After a few minutes he comes out of the bathroom, still wearing black gloves, adjusts his trousers and goes straight to the grill to prepare the sandwiches, still wearing the same gloves...
They could have been 4/5 stars... which become 1.

12/01/2025: Very familiar environment, where on Sunday lunch (but in reality always..) it is a pleasure to go with your family and where the customer is pampered all the time. The most complicated thing is deciding what to eat, because every dish is cooked to perfection... from pizza (in a wood oven) to fish starters (ohhh the peppered mussels is divine), to second courses both meat and fish... I recommend the fried calamari or the calamari steak... the best thing is the final treat with their liqueurs (licorice, banana, pistachio, melon...)

04/02/2025: There is no cozier place in the area around Novara and, in any case, not even in Novara. The refined and welcoming environment, the studied and refined furnishings that recall times gone by, the thoughtful kindness of Sonia and the professionalism of Franco.
A place that certainly needs no introduction but I want to reiterate that if there is a place where you can drink well, in a quiet and refined atmosphere of a true and classic cocktail bar then that is the Fontana di Romentino bar!

02/04/2025: Non abbiamo preso la pizza ma ristorante il cibo è di ottima qualitá. Porzioni abbondanti e servizio veloce. I piatti sono ben presentati. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente
21/03/2025: Ho cenato in questo locale dall'ambiente semplice e familiare e mi sono trovata bene.
La grigliata di pesce era molto abbondante e di buona qualità, lo stesso vale per la panna cotta ai frutti di bosco.
In generale c'è scelta tra primi, secondi e pizze e il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono.
Ci tornerò!
