15/12/2024: I had lunch with my wife's colleagues. Very characteristic place. The private room creates a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The menu I tasted is truly spectacular. I am not able to evaluate which was the most delicious dish, perhaps the risotto with chestnuts. For the quality of the menu, 42 euros is also low, including wines. Coming to Cameri must be done on purpose, but if you are in the surrounding area, it is worth making the detour. I recommend it to everyone.

25/11/2024: Domenica sera, sono passato alla Trattoria da Zia Giò per un apericena. Essendo celiaco, inizialmente ero un po’ scettico: spesso i locali non hanno molte opzioni senza glutine o non sono particolarmente attenti. Invece sono rimasto molto soddisfatto! Mi hanno portato un piatto ben fornito e vario, tutto rigorosamente senza glutine: patate fritte, sandwiches con prosciutto, polenta fritta, insalata russa, polpette tipo falafel e altre cose davvero gustose. Ho chiesto informazioni e la ragazza che prendeva gli ordini mi ha spiegato che usano una friggitrice dedicata per evitare contaminazioni, cosa che ho molto apprezzato. Inoltre, mi ha detto che, prenotando in anticipo, avrebbero potuto preparare persino il fritto misto di pesce senza glutine. Il locale è aperto anche a cena e offre una buona scelta di piatti gluten free, ideale per chi vuole andare oltre il classico aperitivo. Un’esperienza positiva, sia per la qualità dei piatti che per la grande attenzione ai dettagli. Sicuramente torneròper provare la cena! Peccato che sia poco pubblicizzato il fatto che fanno il senza glutine, l'ho scoperto un pò per caso.

27/12/2024: I purchased three pizzas, one of which had seafood, paying extra to have more seafood. Unfortunately, the pizza turned out very bad: very little seafood and of poor quality. Furthermore, the person who went to collect the pizzas, who paid by card, was not provided with a receipt. I went in person to ask for clarification on the quantity of seafood and the failure to issue a receipt. I was answered rudely, with swear words, and without any solution. Before I left, the owner took the pizza and threw it on some sort of counter as if it were garbage. At the same time, he kicked me out of the place, telling me to go somewhere else, without giving me my money back. All of this happened in front of other customers. With a clear head, I would like to point out that I am not interested in having the money returned, but I feel it is my duty to receive an apology for how I was treated. I am also willing to provide proof that the receipt was not issued. Additionally, the person picking up the pizzas heard the owner tell another customer that the cash register wasn't working. So I wonder: how is the regular issuing of receipts managed? This aspect will obviously be verified by the competent authorities. To the owner of the pizzeria: congratulations, but don't let it go to your head. I have purchased other pizzas from you in the past and I can say they were decent, but this time it was a disaster, as the photo shows. If you want, I can suggest where to eat a decent pizza, but certainly not the one you served me. If there are problems, just admit it, but it is not acceptable to treat customers this way. I hope that this review is useful to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation, and that it invites you to reflect before entering this pizzeria………. His words confirm the way I was treated: with insults and total lack of respect towards a customer who simply reported a disservice. I reported concrete and real facts, without inventing anything. I do not intend to continue this conversation or respond to further provocations. I believe that every customer deserves respect, regardless of the criticisms they may raise. I close any type of comparison here and leave others the freedom to evaluate what happened.

21/12/2024: Gruppo di una quindicina di persone con adolescenti, cena prenotata con settimane di anticipo e menù concordato ci ritroviamo a dover dividere due miseri vassoi di risotto in 12 persone (i ragazzi sono stati più fortunati ne hanno avuto uno tutto per loro 8) la grigliata mista comportava uno stinco di maiale ogni 6 persone e forse un paio di costine. Appena passabile l'antipasto con affettati decisamente da supermercato porzioni ridotte e ridicole. Alla fine non volevano darci neppure il dolce sebbene lo avessimo concordato nel menu. Ci eravamo stati già altre volte sempre con lo stesso gruppo ma probabilmente non torneremo mai più. Veramente ridicole le porzioni. Prezzo oltre 45 euro a testa, compreso vino e acqua: sarebbe stato coerente se almeno avessimo potuto mangiare e non alzarci da tavola ancora affamati.

10/11/2024: Very nice environment. Inside there are brick vaults, teal color and antique chandeliers. Outside there is an olive tree that overlooks the courtyard full of flowers and vases. Some dishes are very good such as the second courses (roast beef and pork ribs) and the fried gnocchi with cured meats. Others are normal, like the risotto with pumpkin and toma or the veal with tuna sauce. The service is a little lacking in my opinion. She's too sloppy. First of all we had explicitly asked on the phone if there was an à la carte menu, and they told us yes (in the group there is a woman with intestinal problems and I am pregnant). The dish that would have replaced the raw meat did not arrive. The strudel was served to me with a cream that in my opinion had egg (it seemed the same as that of tiramisu). Meringue pie wasn't listed as a dessert because... and no one understood the excuse (we heard it from the next table though). Service could be improved a bit.
