23/11/2025: Central Bar Arsiero: The bar is certainly well-run, but I have to make one negative point.
The other night I was with friends, and there was an unbearable Borgia, caused by a sports team who, in addition to making a terrible racket, were swearing and drinking, shouting like dockworkers. It was an unbearable scene.
Both for those who aren't religious and for those who are civilized. I don't know where this team was from, but if you're a sports fan, such behavior is even more unacceptable! Swearing and shouting like they did without the coaches and team tutors teaching them good manners.
Sport is also about discipline and education.
Rudeness must be stopped and corrected, dear Sirs. The customers inside, like me, were parents with small children. If this is a good example, please tell me.

09/10/2025: I was passing through and stopped for a business lunch. Very friendly service. Homemade food and reasonable prices. Very good. Well done.
25/07/2025: We found ourselves having to defend ourselves and being mocked because, after waiting 45 minutes for lunch, we refused uncooked rice, asked for two limoncellos that weren't available, and were instead given half a portion of overcooked pasta with just butter. We were also attacked as pretentious by regular customers we hadn't consulted. We emphasize our firm and polite tone. Absurd!!!! We strongly advise unfortunate tourists not to spend 25 euros like that. Dr. Bellini.

09/10/2025: Fantastic food and exceptionally good service. You can tell the chef and his wife are passionate about their craft and constantly innovating, without losing their personal connection to their roots. We've been there for the second time, and we were pleasantly surprised again. Highly recommended!
23/06/2025: We stayed in Villa San Carlo as part of an accomodation package with a self guided walking tour in Piemonte. What a wonderful surprise. Carlo was welcoming and informative and asked us if we would like to join him for a banquet that night. Little did we know he is a world renowned chef . We had dietary requirements and Carlo made us a special banquet with printed personalised menus. It was magnificent. The staff were attentive and skilled. The property is lovely and the pool was large, warm and in a lovely garden setting. We love Villa San Carlo.

16/09/2024: Aufgrund einer Empfehlung sind wir zum Abendessen ins Gallo gegangen und wurden durch die extreme Gastfreundlichkeit von Carmen und Beppe und der leckeren authentischen Küche aus eigenem Anbau überrascht und sind gleich nochmal am letzten Abend unseres Aufenthalts zu Ihnen gefahren. Selbstgemachte Nudeln mit Trüffel, Salami aus eigener Produktion, Kürbisflan mit Trüffel, Wildschweinragout, Panna Cotta mit Haselnusscreme sind nur ein kleiner Auszug, was Carmen alles zaubert! Abgesehen von dem leckeren Roero Arneis, den wir getrunken haben. Danke Euch für die schönen 2 Abende, wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt!

08/02/2025: Qualcosa di grande che il nuovo proprietario ha fatto della pizzeria. Nel pomeriggio una mensa per il personale, la sera un ristorante per tutti. Sempre aperto tranne il lunedì, che è unico nella zona. Le pizze sono fantastiche. Impasto arioso, ampia selezione. Gli altri piatti sono una gioia per gli occhi. Antipasti e secondi piatti sono unici, ad esempio l'antipasati e il misto fritto. Personale attento, cordiale e competente. Tutto è vero. Bravo!

27/11/2023: Trovare una macelleria "di classe" è ormai diventato davvero difficile.
Qui ci sono competenza (= suggerimenti preziosi), carni di eccellenti caratteristiche, ma anche formaggi e altri prodotti di manifattura davvero introvabili: ad esempio, i piccoli e deliziosi raviolini (plin).
Bravissimi, noi ci muoviamo da Genova (1.5 h di macchina) ma ogni volta vale il viaggio!!
