I migliori ristorantinella città Villanova d'asti della Asti

18/01/2025: Ho provato la cucina del ristorante il 25/12 col menù di Natale. Ad un prezzo di 55€, bevande escluse, il menù non si è dimostrato all'altezza del prezzo. Allora, hanno iniziato servendo "gnocco fritto" con prosciutto crudo (di qualità mediocre) e formaggio (gorgonzola) che in un ristorante astigiano "rustico" è una scelta "strana"(!!), mi sarei aspettato questo antipasto in Emilia (dove viene fatto normalmente meglio e si sente meno l'olio di frittura) che a Villanova D'Asti. Quindi hanno servito una tartare di vitello con tuorlo d'uovo (che non era praticamente presente) e carote (rapè e bruciacchiate!). Di nuovo, meglio non cercare di fare piatti "stranieri" a questa terra astigiana se non li conosciamo bene e non li sappiamo realizzare. Se mangi la vera tartare, basta superare il confine a Ventimiglia, ti renderai conto che quella proposta non aveva nulla a che vedere, inoltre realizzata male e senza salse a disposizione per renderla accettabile. Infine gli antipasti terminavano col soufflé di zucca, l'unico piatto decente, forse un po' troppo "dolce", poco gustoso ma decente. I primi piatti erano dei raviolini del plin al sugo di arrosto (si sentiva poco) e cacao amaro (ma perché?!) e poi risotto mantecato allo stracchino con una spruzzata (!) di cavolo verza e 3 (dico 3) pezzettini di salsiccia.....allora qui abbiamo toccato le note più basse del pasto, il risotto era veramente indecente, non cotto correttamente e insapore, un vero disastro culinario. Di questa cosa se ne sono accorti molti dei commensali e da tutti i tavoli ci sono state critiche più o meno palesi al piatto. Mi aspettavo almeno delle scuse e un gesto "commerciale" sul conto ma così non è stato. Il pranzo è terminato con un galletto alle mele di secondo e una panna cotta speziata come dolce. Neanche una fetta di panettone o pandoro con una flute di spumante a chiudere il pasto natalizio .....a tutto ciò si aggiunga un servizio di una lentezza esasperante (iniziato il pasto alle 13.25 e terminato quasi alle 17 (!!!) per sei portate e una decina di tavoli..... Commento finale: imparate a cucinare come parlate, significando che sono meglio piatti della tradizione locale e ben realizzati che provare a tutti i costi ricette che non siamo abituati a realizzare e con risultati davvero mediocri.

26/12/2024: I tried the restaurant's cuisine on 12/25 with the Christmas menu. At a price of €55, drinks not included, the menu did not live up to the price. So, they started by serving "fried gnocco" with raw ham (of mediocre quality) and cheese (gorgonzola) which in a "rustic" Asti restaurant is a "strange" choice(!!), I would have expected this appetizer in Emilia (where it is normally done better and there is less frying oil) than in Villanova D'Asti. Then they served a veal tartare with egg yolk (which was practically not present) and carrots (rapéed and charred!). Again, it is better not to try to make "foreign" dishes to this Asti area if we don't know them well and don't know how to make them. If you eat the real tartare, just cross the border in Ventimiglia, you will realize that that proposal had nothing to do with it, moreover poorly made and without sauces available to make it acceptable. Finally, the appetizers ended with the pumpkin soufflé, the only decent dish, perhaps a little too "sweet", not very tasty but decent. The first courses were ravioli del plin with roast sauce (not very noticeable) and bitter cocoa (but why?!) and then creamed risotto with stracchino cheese with a splash (!) of savoy cabbage and 3 (I say 3) small pieces of sausage .....so here we hit the lowest notes of the meal, the risotto was truly indecent, not cooked properly and tasteless, a real culinary disaster. Many of the guests noticed this and there was more or less obvious criticism of the dish from all the tables. I expected at least an apology and a "commercial" gesture on the bill but this was not the case. Lunch ended with a chicken with apples as a main course and a spiced panna cotta for dessert. Not even a slice of panettone or pandoro with a flute of sparkling wine to close the Christmas meal.....add to all this an exasperatingly slow service (the meal started at 1.25pm ​​and ended almost at 5pm (!!!) for six courses and about ten tables..... Final comment: learn to cook as you speak, meaning that traditional local and well-made dishes are better than trying at all costs recipes that we are not used to making and with truly mediocre results. Final grade: 2

26/12/2024: Despite the large influx of people, they did not lose patience and tried to provide good service. Too bad for those insensitive customers who, having no patience, treated them badly. Oh well now, rudeness reigns supreme. But come on guys. You are the Irish bar, a point of reference in Villanova d'Asti 👍👌

19/01/2025: Our experience at this pizzeria was unfortunately below expectations. Let's start with the positive aspects: the environment is nice and welcoming as soon as you enter, with a pleasant atmosphere that promises a relaxing evening. The waiters proved to be very helpful and friendly, offering attentive and professional service. However, there were several elements that detracted from our experience. Despite the welcoming environment, the place was not heated enough, and at our table we felt cold for the entire duration of dinner. This made the meal less comfortable than expected. Moving on to the food, the pizza seemed a little too salty, and the ingredients used did not live up to expectations. In a pizzeria, the quality of the ingredients is fundamental, and in this case it seemed to us that the freshness and goodness that we expect was missing. Another critical point concerns payment management. At the time of the bill, the manager (or owner) refused to make separate accounts, despite the law allowing this practice, as long as the prohibition is clearly communicated to customers before ordering. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and the refusal created an unpleasant final mix-up. In conclusion, there are some strong points, such as the environment and the dining room staff, but there are several aspects to improve, especially in terms of comfort, quality of ingredients and customer service management.
