03/11/2025: In the heart of San Damiano, under the porticoes, we find this retro-inspired, welcoming venue with friendly and helpful staff. The aperitif with a platter is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Recommended.

26/07/2025: I was truly disappointed with the aperitivo at this place. Paying €7.50 for a spritz (total €21) seems excessive, especially considering they don't even offer a small side dish. The only suggestion was, "Would you like two fries?"—definitely unappealing. A minimal platter of focaccia, taralli, or some appetizers would have been more than adequate to justify the price. This aperitivo deserves a rethink.

20/03/2026: Excellent family-run restaurant located in a former school (unusual). Recommended by friends and family, we went for dinner. The service was excellent, the food was good, plentiful, and the ingredients were top-notch. The price is average, with a la carte or set menu (€35-50). But it's still worth the money... We'll definitely be back...

14/02/2026: I had lunch at L'Abbecedario after a wine tasting at the nearby Tenuta La Pergola Vino e Agriturismo, and it was the perfect end to the day. The lunch was excellent, with carefully prepared and well-balanced dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. Careful attention was evident in both the cuisine and the presentation, without excess but with great substance. The real added value was the outdoor terrace, truly pleasant: a relaxing atmosphere, views of the hills, and that sense of tranquility that only Piedmont can offer. Ideal for enjoying lunch at leisure, especially after a morning of tastings. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants an authentic experience with good food and a beautiful view.
