09/12/2024: I visited this historic Castle thanks to the courtesy of the owners; the property is private but is periodically opened to the public for events and visits. The place is really very beautiful, the photos speak for themselves, and is made up of several parts built over the centuries. The oldest part is the central watchtower, which stands out among the Monferrato hills, visible from far away and dating back approximately to the 19th century. Then to the north a medieval part, gradually integrated by the beautiful and elegant Baroque facade with characteristic and precious staircase, embracing the Italian-style hanging garden. Delightful. The chapel is also characteristic and valuable, with a central plan, a valuable work by Ferroggio, a pupil of Juvarra. Then in the 19th century the architect. Bollati juxtaposes a vast neo-Gothic expansion wing to the south, which also very characterizes the imposing southern façade on 5 levels. To the north, a vast park of about 4 hectares which we did not visit, promising to return. A real gem is the large panoramic terrace of the nineteenth-century wing from which you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view, even more delightful at sunset. I will definitely return more calmly.

07/10/2024: Quando si dice “mangiare casereccio”. Capitato per caso una domenica a pranzo, cucina tipica de posto. Prodotti ottimi. Il proprietario una persona gentilissima.

06/09/2024: Segnalatoci da un conoscente e dopo aver letto le recensioni su questo sito siamo stati a pranzo in questo agriturismo. Piatti buoni e abbondanti (tranne il bunet, che era proprio risicato), vino ottimo, tutto all'insegna della cucina casalinga. Non si raggiungono vette di raffinatezza, ma ci si sfama bene, anche con piatti che uno non mangia abitualmente. Prezzo onesto e in linea con quanto servito.
