The kitchen creates exquisite dishes, the service is competent, attentive, and sharp-edged—warm, and the ambiance is stylish.
Tip: My Black Forest dessert creation was simply divine. Definitely worth trying!

22/06/2025: Quick stop during a ride a motorbike. A good salad and a good plate of tasty penne. Prices normal.
18/05/2025: I ordered a Napoli pizza with sardines and capers. The pizza was too salty and inedible, even though I love salt. When the waiter, an older gentleman, asked me if I was satisfied and I complained, he gave me the unbelievable reply: "You want quality at a low price!" The price was €11.00. I wanted a good pizza, not a cheap one.

13/07/2025: The pizza tasted okay. I expected more based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, the pizzas were barely seasoned. The staff was very nice. Unfortunately, there's currently a construction site in front of the shop, which isn't the restaurant's fault, of course. Nevertheless, it was very loud on the terrace during the day, including the jackhammer.
11/07/2025: The pizzas were okay, but certainly nothing special. Towards the end, the middle was more mush than anything else.
The staff always chats you up in Italian, even if they speak German perfectly well and you were just speaking to them in German two minutes earlier. They only switch languages when they're completely out of their depth. It's a bit annoying when you're doing it five times in one evening.
There are much better restaurants in Merano, and the good reviews here don't really match our experience.
