07/10/2024: Wenn wir in Cannobio sind ist es keine Frage wohin wir essen gehen ! Wir gehen ausschließlich in's Il Pontile ! Es ist nach wie vor immer sehr gut !
30/09/2024: Ho pranzato con mia moglie in questo bel ristorante che con un’ottima location fronte lago prometteva davvero bene.
Intrigati dal proposta sul menu di risotto con filetti di pesce persico, abbiamo entrambi preso questo piatto.
E’ stato un errore ( e con il conto lo abbiamo anche pagato caruccio).
Non si trattava di un risotto ma di riso ( solo bollito) guarnito di 4 ( quattro !!!) filettini di persico. In piu’ lo chef, probabilmente per mimettizare la semplice cottura in acqua bollente del riso ( no mantecatura, no soffritto, no vino bianco …) ha pensato di aggiungervi burro e , tanto, aglio!
Sinceramente non abbiamo dato al locale una seconda chance e dopo il riso, solo un caffe e via! Unico sincero apprezzamento la gentilezza e la cortesia della signora che ci ha servito.

24/12/2024: Having called the telephone number shown in Google, no response, we arrive from the Locarno area and discover that the times indicated in Google were wrong and the restaurant was closing, furthermore the menu indicated was also different. TRIPLET!!!
Is it possible that no one had 2 minutes to update the information?
01/11/2024: Tourist rip off!!! The prices for the drinks are okay, but you have to pay 3 euros per person for the cover, even if you only drink something. In our case that would be over 60 percent surcharge! The Aperol for 5 euros is an absolute lure, 70 percent of which consists only of ice. The service was extremely poor and slow, and the waiter was not very motivated. I can only advise against it!

05/03/2025: Lage top, Ambiente schön, Salat ok, grilliertes Gemüse gut, Ossobuco nichts für dritte Zähne, Risotto langweilig, ist das Geld nicht wert. 1 Glas (1 dl) Pinot Grigio €7.-
Wir waren enttäuscht. Schade!
Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Wen wunderts.
29/09/2024: Excelente ubicación frente al lago y un servicio atento. La comida es muy agobiante. Tuvimos que enviar 2 porciones de lasaña de vuelta porque estaban helados en el medio. La arrabiata era sosa, obviamente no había sal añadida al agua de pasta, y la salsa era fina e insípida. El vongole era igualmente desaborrecido y decepcionante. El restaurante no estaba ocupado, así que no podemos culparlo. Usted está pagando una prima por la ubicación. Recomendaría llegar más lejos en el pueblo para mejores opciones. Estábamos un poco estancados porque era un poco tarde para el almuerzo.

04/10/2024: Ein grosses Plus ist die ganztags warme Küche! Grosse Auswahl, Qualität ansprechend.
Leider dauert der Service sehr lange…
25/08/2024: Leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir hatten Fischfilet und Entrecote bestellt.
Das Fischfilet war voller Gräten und in Soße ertränkt. Es schmeckte fade.
Das Entrecote wurde medium bestellt und kam roh! Nach der Reklamation wurde das Fleisch durchgebraten zurück an den Tisch gebracht.
Ein Steak Medium braten zu können, sollte zur Mindestanforderung eines Kochs gehören.
Aus unserer Sicht eine Touristenfalle mit schönem Ausblick auf der Lago Maggiore.

18/07/2024: Mitten im Wald im "Bermuda Dreieck" der guten Restaurants in Cannobio liegt das kleine Restaurant mit wenigen Tischen innen und aussen und wirkt wie aus der Zeit gefallen.
Der Patrone und die Chefin begrüßen herzlich. Haben Sie reserviert? ansonsten schwierig. Tip: per SMS reservieren.
Hausgemachte Pasta mit Trüffel, Klassiker wie Saltimbocca oder Bachforelle munden. Die Dolce sind eine süße Sünde.
Weinkarte anbei: Rot,Weiß, Rose - viertel, halber oder ganzer Liter. Trotzdem lecker. Man kann auch mit Karte zahlen, es wird aber auch Bargeld akzeptiert. Bitte nicht weitersagen. 😋
16/06/2024: Nach telefonischer Reservierung haben wir vor verschlossener Tür gestanden. So was geht garnicht . Das ist schon eine totale Unverschämtheit
