For God’s sake… or rather it will be BIG TOURIST TRAP of Rapallo, this place is definitely a place for “stupid” tourists who want to kill hunger for little money, (my husband and I were stupid to go and eat there because we were coming from a hike and we were dying of hunger, we played with fire and got burned, hunger won and we ordered at random it was the closest thing we had) it is not as cheap as they offer so be careful… it is clear to me that people no longer have standards of what it is to eat decently seeing that diners give this place 5 stars… my husband and I ordered rice which was halfway decent, the noodles were cold but passable but tasteless but definitely the icing on the cake was the supposed chicken with curry and the meat with chili that we ordered, that chicken with curry tasted like when you put water to boil with a Maggie cube and then put some slices of frozen chicken and serve it (HORRIBLE) and the meat with chili had skin I couldn’t even swallow it well, we We ate the rice and the chicken because they were decent and we were hungry for the chicken and the meat, we tried not to leave anything but it was impossible, it was HORRIBLE and all this for 44 euros... the waiters were indisposed and the service was lazy, honestly DO NOT GO if you do not want to have a bad time...
03/08/2025: I leave this review with shame as a restaurateur and business owner!
The owner and the waiters showed absolutely no humility, humanity, or politeness. Despite seeing me in serious distress, as my husband had a heart attack while we were having lunch there, they completely ignored me. I urgently asked for a sugar packet, thinking it was a low blood sugar, and was told to go get it from the bar counter, while my husband couldn't even breathe. Furthermore, we arrived at 12:30 PM, and when he fell ill at 1:00 PM, we didn't eat the lunch dishes we'd ordered, only a very small portion. Furthermore, I received no assistance, and by law, one of the staff must have a first aid course, as well as a humane one. I was charged a total of €110.
This is shameful, and I will ask for clarification regarding the lack of first aid.

10/08/2025: Nice little place, friendly and fast service. Pizzas were ok
10/08/2025: We spontaneously discovered the La Goletta restaurant while strolling through Rapallo – it immediately looked inviting. After glancing at the menu outside, we immediately wanted to eat there. The restaurant was busy, but we were lucky enough to snag a table outside.
For our starter, we chose Impepata di cozze – the mussels were fresh, spicy, and delicious – and a small portion of Italian olives.
My husband chose Orata alla ligure con patate, capperi e olives for our main course. The fish was succulent, fresh, and perfectly prepared – he loved it.
I chose Spaghetti alla carbonara con tartufo uncinato. Since I don't eat pork, I asked the friendly waiter if the dish could be made without meat – no problem at all! The pasta was delicious, the truffle flavor subtle but harmonious.
The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, and the staff were always attentive and polite, despite the full house.
Conclusion: A charming restaurant with delicious food, friendly service, and a feel-good atmosphere – highly recommended!

17/08/2025: Good evening, I was served this evening, August 17, 2025. We were able to order several dishes, some of which were served with less quantity, which could have been a constraint for this meal. I was quite disappointed with the service provided because of the 30-minute wait... and that the dishes were not all sent at the same time and that we had to constantly ask for water and a chair to sit on.
25/07/2025: Everything was great, food, service and prices. Owner was so kind, waiters too, paella was fantastic, the best one i ever had! I will surely comeback next vacation!!

21/08/2025: What can I say... a wonderful experience!
We chose this place for my birthday dinner.
Every detail was taken care of, from the table settings to the service, which was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive.
The dishes were all excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and the execution of a small birthday cake.
They were happy to accommodate every request (even to prepare a risotto for just one person).
The location and the view were a real plus.
Highly recommended.
03/08/2025: A huge disappointment. The menu, priced between €135 and €180 per person, suggests a true gastronomic experience—unfortunately, this isn't the case. If you have a minimally discerning palate, you'll quickly realize that everything here is about appearances without delivering the quality behind it. The flavor combinations are often shaky, lacking in finesse, and sometimes downright bad. It's a far cry from what you'd expect from an establishment billed as gourmet. The first small restaurant in the area does much better, for a fraction of the price. None of the dishes stood out, and some were bordering on boring, even subpar.
The service, however, was adequate—professional without being exceptional.
In short, avoid.

08/06/2025: I'll start by saying that I often go to Rapallo and I've been to this place several times. I found the guy very rude. Having a 3 year old daughter I asked to use the bathroom for her. He told me no. I said that I thought it was Scorsese and I would share my experience with him. Ashamed of what he had done he repeatedly insulted me saying that I was damaging his work. I replied that it wasn't true I would only express the facts. No continuous insults. I tried to talk without success
Based on the owner's response
I point out that I have always asked for the child. The fact that he now says he would do it means that he regrets it and is a little ashamed of having been rude
I didn't threaten anything except to report the incident if the incident puts you in a bad light and it's your actions' fault
I was told that it was a decision of the owner who wasn't there. Now he says that he is the owner. Another element that explains a behavior that is formally legal but not socially correct.
The cameras can confirm that I never went back but I turned around when I was called bad words.
We can also think differently but I don't see much justification for telling me to go to hell in front of my daughter and saying that not everyone has directed their words. In my opinion it exudes a bit of inexperience. I still wish you success and hope that this incident can help you welcome people into your place. Good luck
