15/09/2024: The Ai Confini restaurant, located directly on the golf course in Tarvisio, is truly a culinary gem!
Here, good, honest cuisine with regional products is offered on a manageable menu.
The number of tables is limited, so it is absolutely recommended to make a table reservation.
The price-performance ratio is great!
Of course, Italian is spoken, but also Slovenian, German and English.
Anyone who can't resist the temptation to divide several dishes onto two plates will be generously rewarded with this option at no extra charge.
This means you can enjoy several starters together.
The drinks menu is very remarkable and includes all of Italy, a few French and all at really moderate prices.
We would be happy to come back here next time and be very hungry.
The fifth star for the kitchen in the rating comes about because the frequency of strawberry crumble on many dishes was not necessarily appropriate due to the acidity... but that shouldn't detract from the overall impression... 👍 🤗

26/08/2024: Disastrous service, drinks are forgotten, food is forgotten and after urgent response there is no comment and obviously reluctance. Certainly not anymore!
So I'm happy to respond to the answer from the "owner" because I feel the need to respond. There were hardly any guests there, and it certainly wasn't overcrowded. And if you're still waiting 20 minutes after ordering for drinks that arrive incomplete, you can only perceive that as poor service. If the requested drink is then given to the wrong guest, you can only speak of poor service. If the dishes, ordered together, are only served little by little, and one of them is not served at all, then one can certainly speak of catastrophic service. If the waiter sprays oil from your plate all over you even after the ordered dish is 15 minutes late, without a word of apology, then you're probably allowed to...
And besides, you don't have four to five stars, well below four and that's still far too high (probably just due to "own ratings").
How you handle your shop is your business, I would close it like that!
I also noticed that you only gave inappropriate justifications in your answers instead of apologizing and affirming that you are (wanting to) work on improvements, which is a shame.
