02/07/2024: Benji has been eating in Orvieto on many visits for more than 15 years. Benji fondly remembers many excellent meals at Antica Rupe when Simone and Luca were running the restaurant. Very sadly, Benji returned tonight and found that Antica Rupe under the new owners provided the worst meal he has ever had in Orvieto. The lovely second floor dining room has been replaced by an ugly rear garden and first floor dining area. The eggplant in the pasta was undercooked. The eggplant in the grilled vegetables was undercooked. The pizza arrived cold. The redone pizza arrived with soggy crust. Benji skipped dessert. When the bill arrived, the wine was charged at €10 higher than it was listed on the wine list. The 20% discount promised by The Fork reservation system was not provided. Benji will not return and suggests you don’t go either.

01/07/2024: Avevo buone aspettative ma sono rimasto molto deluso dalla pizza napoletana che non era saporita, oltretutto è stata anche ordinata una La bistecca Tomahawk al sangue che è stata servita ben cotta.
