16/12/2024: EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED!!!
We waited more than an hour to be seated at a table and then waited for another one before booking and were told that the only thing they could serve us was a cold cuts platter and they would only do it for the little girl (2 years old!!!) the exception of a plate of pasta with tomato sauce which he then didn't eat because despite repeated reminders it was served at 4pm and naturally he collapsed before that. Cutlery and glasses served wet because, according to the owner, they were soaked in vinegar (WHY? NEVER SEEN OR HEARD BEFORE IN MY LIFE)!!!
Poor food, the tomato in the pasta was acidic, the stripe on the cutting board was yellow and what I think must have been over cooked had an unusual taste... Other diners at the next tables complained not only about the wait until they found the worms in the porcini mushrooms of the fillet, others still found bitten cheese on the cutting board, "wild boar tagliatelle" acidic and with an unusual taste, "bread" cut into thin pieces because it was finished, etc, etc... I could go on and on for a long time.
They certainly don't know what hygiene is, the necessary checks and a good HACCP refresher course would be needed.
At the table he uses as a cashier he was smoking and he invited others to light up their cigarettes too, not caring that we were still inside the place with a little girl!!! Despite the general discontent, the owner continued to mock everyone and act funny instead of apologizing, perhaps offering something to the poor who happened to be there. The only excuse he was able to give was that he lacked staff... well then he shouldn't have accepted more bookings than he could handle. But unfortunately some restaurateurs only look at their wallets, knowing that they are in full season and that some desperate unfortunate person will find it anyway!!! If you want some advice... EAT A SANDWICH AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
GIVEN THE HOLDER'S KIND RESPONSE, I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THAT WE ENTERED AT 2.40 PM UNDER YOUR RESERVATION. YOU CREATE THE PROBLEMS FOR CUSTOMERS WHO PAY HANDSOMELY FOR A POOR SERVICE. THE WORMS ON THE MUSHROOMS WERE VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYES... BEFORE COOKING AND BRINGING A DISH TO THE TABLE IT IS A GOOD RULE TO CHECK... YOU SHOULD LEARN WHAT HUMILITY AND EDUCATION MEAN AND APOLOGIZE INSTEAD OF BEING ARROGANT!! !!!
