18/03/2025: I'll just report the facts Midweek lunch at the end of September 200g of cold tagliata 50g of fried mushrooms Water and coffee 41€ (In response to the owner, 6 months because Google hadn't published it... I'll add that the tagliata, in addition to being cold, was also very hard... I almost forgot)
06/03/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. On an evening with few alternatives, given that most of the restaurants were closed, we decided to try this place, but found ourselves to be the only customers. The waiter, kind and helpful, informed us that many dishes on the menu were not available, which is understandable in the low season with little influx of tourists. Following his advice, we ordered a beef stew with two sides and a platter of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses. The problems started right from the appetizer: the platter was made up of low quality cold cuts, probably those packaged in supermarket trays cheap, for a decidedly unjustified cost of 18 euros. The stew, at first taste, confirmed our fears: meat heated in the microwave, with a sauce with an altered flavor, probably days old. The addition of vinegar seemed like a clumsy attempt to cover up the bad taste. The side dishes were equally disappointing: inedible baked potatoes, reheated several times, and vegetables sautéed in a pan only in name, in reality dry and tasteless, similar to those found in supermarket bags. Although we had left most of the food on our plates, the waiter, perhaps aware of the quality of the food, avoided asking if everything was OK. In order not to remain completely starved, we tried the "alternative tiramisu", which proved to be generous in size but terrible in taste. The final bill? 86 euros for two people. An absurd price for a dinner of such poor quality, which borders on fraud. The only positive note was the courtesy of the waiter, but otherwise it is a place that degrades catering, deceives customers and, even more seriously, could even put their health at risk. Definitely to be avoided. Thank you for your reply, although I'm sorry to read such a defensive tone. My review is based on real experience and sincere impressions, with no intention to defame or create controversy. I'm glad to know that you don't use packaged meats, but the perceived quality of the cutting board did not reflect the asking price. Regarding the dishes ordered, it is true that a stew dish was partly consumed, but this does not mean that the quality was satisfactory. Often, in a restaurant, you eat something just to not leave the plate completely intact, but this does not mean that the food lives up to expectations. Regarding the desserts, the fact that they were eaten does not mean that they were of excellent quality, but simply that they were the only alternative to end the dinner. Also, my comment about the vegetables wasn't questioning the cooking method, but their quality and flavor. I'm sorry that my review was perceived as an attack, but my intent was only to share an honest experience. I accept that there may be different opinions, but I believe that constructive discussion is always more useful than insults. I wish you a good day.
