14/02/2026: After ordering some takeaway pizzas, the one with rocket and prosciutto was rather poor quality. The cured meat, in particular, smelled bad, suggesting its low quality.

10/02/2026: On Sunday, having just arrived on vacation in Agrigento, we noticed this restaurant. We decided to ask if we could sit down, as we had a small child and it was raining and cold outside. It was 7:00 PM, and my husband came in and asked if we could sit down given the bad weather. He asked if we could feed the baby and then we could order and eat. The person my husband spoke to (who also happens to be the owner) was arrogant and rude, telling my husband that we had to wait outside for at least 15 minutes (opening hours) before being seated. He didn't even bother to tell my husband to sit down given the bad weather and the presence of a small child. We simply asked to be seated even though it wasn't open to the public yet and there were only 15 minutes left until opening. Not a bad start. Moral of the story: we didn't have to wait outside in the cold and rain with a small child. Luckily, there are other restaurants next to this one, where we ended up having dinner and were greeted like true gentlemen, with warmth and politeness (which is essential). This restaurant at the head of the table may be beautiful and have excellent food, but what politeness, respect, and cordiality are worth is not worth anything else.

31/01/2026: Terrible, just happened to be passing by. The dishes were bland, the fish wasn't fresh, and the wine was watered down. Not recommended.

28/10/2025: Friendly welcome, and even though we don't speak Italian and the staff didn't speak English, communication was great! The food, pizza and Italian appetizer, was delicious and more than enough! The house wine was good... we were very satisfied. From 8 pm onwards today, Tuesday, there were a lot of guests... that's always a good sign 😜

09/09/2025: The pizza is amazing!!! I highly recommend it. Communication is in Italian only. Opens at 7:30 PM, although Google says it opens at 5:00 PM.

20/07/2025: Bar super centrale a Lampedusa sempre molto frequentato. I dolci per la colazione buonissimi, la granita alle mandorle una prelibatezze, il personale nonostante la mole di lavoro, disponibile e cordiale. Consigliato

04/02/2026: I had the opportunity to visit the swimming pool in Cammarata today. Unfortunately, the sauna was closed. In general, the pool is in a deplorable state. It doesn't resemble the pictures on the website at all. Rain also leaks into the hall because the roof is faulty. Entry costs €7. The water, even in the showers, was only lukewarm. Many thanks to the staff. I think they're working with what they have. It's difficult...

30/10/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant. You feel right at home here. The staff is very warm, the food is excellent, and the prices are fair. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. Thank you for a lovely evening. We're coming back today with our friends!

24/01/2026: Below zero. We order takeout pizzas, they tell us they'll be ready at 9pm, and we get them at 10:30pm. Never again.

06/07/2025: This restaurant was opposite our hotel and we first tried it for home made ice cream - it was delicious and staff were really helpful so we went for dinner more than once. It’s position in the cliff is great enhanced by the decor and setting - really great service and tasty food if limited menu - I have a food allergy and they cooked a separate not on menu meal for me - you cannot ask for more than that. It’s is a great place to sit and enjoy the view - thank you to the staff for helping to make a really enjoyable holiday. I see someone thought it pricey - not for this standard of food and place.

03/09/2025: A truly welcoming place, with a spectacular garden that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The food is excellent: from appetizers to pizza, to meat dishes, everything is carefully prepared and flavorful. Kudos to the owners for their courtesy and helpfulness, especially Giorgia, who is incredibly kind and always attentive. We'll definitely be back!

14/05/2025: I had dinner with my wife, beautiful location, super dinner and excellent service, the staff welcomed us kindly accompanying us to our table and during dinner the lady lost the owner came to make sure if everything was to our liking. To be repeated

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

02/10/2025: I was at Lipadusa Restaurant last night, October 1, 2025. After a rich and delicious mixed seafood appetizer, I ordered tagliatelle with tomato sauce, vegetable ragù, and monkfish. Too bad there was no monkfish on the plate at all. I politely pointed this out to the owner, who literally attacked me, claiming the frog was minced. I can confirm, however, that there was no fish in the tagliatelle, not even a hint. I actually ate tagliatelle with tomato sauce, chopped celery, onion, and carrot, and a fish stock. The portion was also very small. After the clarification, I received the bill immediately and the owner himself asked me to pay, telling me they wouldn't serve me anything else. The evening was terrible for other tables near mine, too. Several diners repeatedly complained to the staff about delays, missing dishes, etc. The owner became very nervous and aggressive with all the guests who complained, claiming that at the end of the season he was tired of dealing with people. Terrible hospitality, rating 3. He remained calm and detached; he didn't manage to ruin my evening, even though I would have preferred to eat what he had offered and explained to me. However, the aggression I received was serious. Nice note: The waitress, aware of what had happened, asked if she could offer me an amaro, which I accepted, almost as if to apologize for what had happened. A very appreciated gesture.
