16/08/2025: A fantastic hotel, lovingly decorated. The service and rooms are outstanding. Breakfast is varied and offers a wide selection. The garden is beautifully landscaped.

31/08/2025: The pizza dough was great, so I really enjoyed the pizza. There were a few too few ingredients on it, so the food was a bit too bread-heavy and not quite filling. The location by the lake is very nice. The service was nonexistent. Since we were primarily looking for a crispy pizza and wanted to leave quickly, this didn't bother us too much, so despite its obvious weaknesses, it was a good experience.
31/08/2025: The place is nice, great view and atmosphere. The staff is a bit clumsy, not particularly friendly but not rude either.
The pizza is okay, the dough is good and tasty, but the toppings are really sparse. I think it definitely needs more ingredients on top.

Restaurant Lo Scalo

27/07/2025: We sat inside the restaurant, where the decor was traditional and very cozy.
We ordered pizza.
It's a traditional Neapolitan pizza with a thick crust, which can be made in many different variations upon request.
We really enjoyed the pizza!
We would recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys stone-baked pizza.
26/07/2025: We had a really good meal at Lo Scalo! Everything was consistently delicious. The Pasta Frutti di Mare is especially recommended – perfectly balanced, with plenty of seafood, and simply amazing flavor.
You can easily enjoy three courses here because the quality is consistently impressive, from appetizer to dessert. One of the better restaurants on the promenade – a little more expensive, but absolutely worth the price.
Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere – we'll definitely be back!

31/03/2025: Das Essen im Pontile war so ausgezeichnet, dass wir gleich 3 Mal dort zu Abend gegessen haben. Die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich, speditiv und sehr kompetent. Die Speisen waren äusserst lecker, ansprechend zubereitet und angerichtet und zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Wir können das Pontile nur empfehlen.

01/05/2025: Un luogo tranquillo ma elegante, ordinato e silenzioso immerso nel verde di un fondo valle a pochi minuti da Cannobio.
Diciamo che la cucina eccelle per i raffinati sapori che lascia al palato veramente ben elaborati dagli chef.
Il vinello che ci hanno proposto è stato uno spettacolo, uno Schiava del Trentino, buono e fruttato.
Il prezzo vale quello che si mangia.
La qualità è sicuramente nei loro obiettivi per soddisfare il cliente.

Assolutamente da provare.
Pasta, gelato, pane ...fatti in casa.

04/10/2024: Ein grosses Plus ist die ganztags warme Küche! Grosse Auswahl, Qualität ansprechend.
Leider dauert der Service sehr lange…
25/08/2024: Leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir hatten Fischfilet und Entrecote bestellt.
Das Fischfilet war voller Gräten und in Soße ertränkt. Es schmeckte fade.
Das Entrecote wurde medium bestellt und kam roh! Nach der Reklamation wurde das Fleisch durchgebraten zurück an den Tisch gebracht.
Ein Steak Medium braten zu können, sollte zur Mindestanforderung eines Kochs gehören.
Aus unserer Sicht eine Touristenfalle mit schönem Ausblick auf der Lago Maggiore.

24/04/2025: Gezellig en knus restaurant en heerlijk gegeten. Guiseppe was een zeer gezellige en lieve gastheer die het ons naar de zin wilde maken. Perfecte avond om de verjaardag van mijn moeder te vieren.
31/03/2025: Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Gute Pizzen und ansprechende Teigwaren-Gerichte. Wenn man in Eile ist und trotzdem gut essen möchte, der richtige Ort. Wir können das Ristorante AD nur empfehlen
