15/02/2025: I had the pleasure of tasting traditional dishes, prepared with excellent quality ingredients and presented with great care. Each course was able to enhance the authentic flavors of the local cuisine, enriching them with a personal touch from the chef, capable of making every taste a pleasant discovery. The romantic atmosphere made the experience even more special, thanks also to the presence of a talented pianist who accompanied the evening with a refined and never intrusive musical selection. The environment, with attention to the smallest details in a rustic style, gives a sense of warmth and authenticity, while the suggestive location enchants from the first glance. The staff is extremely kind and attentive to guests' needs. The only small flaw: the restaurant is a little difficult to reach due to poor signage, but once you arrive, the quality of the experience amply repays the effort.

03/12/2024: I discovered this restaurant and was charmed by its superb setting and relaxing atmosphere. As for the meal, I tried lemon linguine for €10, absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance between freshness and flavors (a little tight for big eaters). I also had fried fish with lemon for €16, very well made and tasty. Overall, a great culinary experience in a pleasant place, ideal for a relaxing moment while enjoying well-prepared dishes at reasonable prices. I recommend!

20/10/2024: Appena siamo entrati nell’ampio terrazzo subito abbiamo respirato aria di casa e di tranquillità.. una varietà di piante e fiori mediterranei che adornano tutto lo spazio esterno con tavoli in ceramica di Vietr…regalano un’atmosfera di pace e di relax…. Insomma …un vero giardino pensile. Ci ha accolti un giovane proprietario che con la sua gentilezza e competenza ci ha illustrato i piatti del giorno. Abbiamo cominciato con delle verdure saltate in padella scarola e friarielli.. semplicemente eccellenti…e proseguito con una lampuga appena scottata appoggiata su una purea di patate al profumo di limone e guarnita da pomodorini datterini appena saltati in padella … una vera prelibatezza per gli occhi e per il palato!… servizio discreto e puntuale ad opera di Camillo che ringrazio per il suo garbo. La Sciavica è un ristorante a gestione familiare dove il cliente è coccolato da quando entra a quando esce….Lo consiglio vivamente soprattutto perché l’eccellente qualità dei prodotti è ripagata da un prezzo più che onesto.

04/11/2024: We had lunch at La Rondinella on Saturday, booking well in advance (recommended), outdoors even though it was November 2nd, and it was a wonderful experience. The sea in front and the sunny, spring weather were the setting for a fantastic lunch. We took a Mosaico di mare appetizer for two, varied and abundant, and two seafood first courses, linguine with fresh squid and linguine with lobster. To drink a bottle of natural water and half a liter of sparkling house wine, finishing with a coffee, for a total of around €95 for two. Everything was excellent and the setting is wonderful. Absolutely recommended

16/02/2025: We came back two days in a row because of the great food and the courteous / fun staff. We will come back on our next visit and I highly recommend others to visit this restaurant!

15/02/2025: We ate for lunch, taking pizza and fried food, all really good and with quality ingredients. Friendly staff, honest prices and a splendid location near the sea in Forio. Absolutely recommended!

11/01/2025: Good restaurant in Forio with a good menu and additional daily specials. We enjoy our food by the fireplace in a beautiful atmosphere with art objects. There is German beer on tap, good wines from Ischia, delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven, fish and meat dishes. The staff is very attentive and nice. Everyone has great work clothing. The sanitary facilities, which are very clean and equipped with everything, deserve special mention. This is not a given in southern Italy. We recommend this place to everyone!

14/10/2024: Posto fantastico, immerso tra gli alberi. Una pace totale. L'offerta a pranzo è ricca di portate tipiche del posto cucinate ad arte. La veduta mozzafiato su Forio non si può descrivere. La salita potrebbe essere impegnativa con auto di grosse dimensioni. Noi siamo saliti in scooter ed è stato molto piacevole. Il personale è estremamente gentile. La star box è una esperienza da fare, e la passeggiata in fattoria è divertente. Nel complesso siamo stati benissimo. Ci ritorneremo senz'altro in compagnia...

13/10/2024: Io comincerei dalla strada per arrivarci: divertente!!!! Ma non andatate con i suv senno' vi incastrate e poi vi mettete paura.... arrivati al parcheggio si fanno altri 100mt circa a piedi ed in salita. Il posto e' magnifico eaattamente sopra la baia di Forio, da dove si gode si un teamonto memorabile. I proprietari sono molto gentili e sanno accogliere con sincerita', il cibo e' molto buono genuino ed abbondante. Veramente una bella scoperta. Bravi

31/10/2024: In una settimana sono andata due volte in questo locale dove ho trovato personale molto cortese e disponibile. Mi avevano anticipato che si mangiava bene il pesce ed ho ordinato pesce. Di norma non sono una persona che si accontenta facilmente , ma devo dire che entrambe le volte ho trovato materia prima freschissima e piatti molto equilibrati nei sapori. Ho anche chiesto una variazione di ingrediente in un primo piatto che mi è stata accordata senza problemi. Inoltre si può ordinare vino al bicchiere, cosa che si dà per scontata ma in realtà non lo è. Il localino è molto carino ma essendo proprio lungomare e all' aperto, ovviamente, è più apprezzabile con il tempo bello. A me è toccata una settimana non proprio gradevole dal punto di vista meteorologico. Comunque ho goduto di una bella vista in lontananza del porto. Dovessi tornare ad Ischia sicuramente tornerei in questo ristorante. Lo raccomando vivamente.
