04/05/2026: Everything was excellent, starting with the owners' welcome. The food was exceptional: we ordered a fried fish and a baked sea bream. The fish was incredibly fresh and lightly cooked. Homemade desserts: we ordered the lemon delight. In the evening, we tried the takeout pizzas, including some with unique flavors like zucchini cream, fried meatballs, and provola cheese. Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: Having rightfully entered my personal list of my all-time favorite restaurants, I visited this restaurant in Ischia today and am struggling to find the right words to succinctly describe the enchanting lunch we had. It all began with the service, which to call excellent is an understatement (thanks to the waiter Francesco, who was incredibly kind to us and my 18-month-old son), followed by the beautiful setting, with a stunning view of the sea and carefully curated with antiques down to the smallest detail, and finally, the dishes, which, besides being delicious and exquisite, were cooked according to tradition and with excellent ingredients, unlike many tourist-friendly places that serve dishes more suited to local tastes than true tradition. We ate a delicious house antipasto (the fried parmigiana was particularly good), a sensational Ischia-style rabbit, and a filo pastry basket with lemon cream and berries. All of this was accompanied by excellent white wine, warm bread, and they offered us a delicious homemade limoncello. Excellent value for money. Congratulations, if I ever return to Ischia we will definitely see each other again.

14/05/2026: Beautiful venue, meticulously maintained, with attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional staff. The location is fantastic. We ordered the Ischian-style rabbit, which was excellent. The wine list is top-notch.

25/05/2026: For those who love Mediterranean cuisine, the Neptunus restaurant is highly recommended, with its breathtaking view of Punta Imperatore, as are the dishes by chef Luciano. Average quality/price ratio. Top-quality products at KC 0, excellent service. And the live music is fun. I can't wait to return.

You'll always find the same welcoming atmosphere, top-notch service, and owners Elisabetta and Leonardo, who are as exquisite as their food. An impressive menu, exceptional quality, and carefully crafted, unique dishes that showcase the flavors of the fish and other ingredients. Excellent combinations, even the desserts, with a new, revisited Caprese. Your palate will thank you. You feel pampered...you don't just go to a restaurant, but to a vibrant experience.

17/05/2026: Good pizza - not the best I've eaten in Italy but very good. Nice service, a bit bright in the room and a bit loud music where you could hear two different songs at the same time even though we were sitting at the back of the room.

03/06/2026: It's a shame the opening hours listed here are incorrect. We walked for over 30 minutes on a Wednesday at 9 pm, only to find it closed. Up-to-date opening hours on Google would have been helpful, as we specifically checked beforehand. At least it was a nice walk.

17/05/2026: We stopped briefly today for a bite to eat before continuing our journey. The grilled sardines were very good, and the house white wine was delicious. We also wanted to try the Ruccolino liqueur and received a very friendly recommendation for it and two other Ischian specialties. They even brought one extra for my wife, free of charge, just to try. The attentive and friendly service was exceptional. Mille Grazie! 👍

03/06/2026: We were in Ischia over the June 2nd long weekend, and after several disappointing lunch and dinner experiences at other restaurants, we stumbled upon La Ruota, where we had an excellent experience: the welcome, friendliness, quality, service, and variety of dishes... what more can I say? Lunch at La Ruota was a complete surprise. We ate wonderfully and were pampered by Marcella, who delighted us. The zucchini and mussels specialties are a must-try, a superb combination of ingredients and quality.

27/01/2026: Pleasantly surprised by the coffee with my feet in the water for €1.50! The prices of the dishes are also very reasonable for planning an afternoon at the beach in a small cove of blue water including a hot spring.

10/10/2025: Sorgeto a wonderful bay, the restaurant has few dishes but the service is fast and the staff are kind, excellent bruschetta and I ate a very good plate of octopus gnocchi.

22/09/2025: A true pearl of Ischia! At Trattoria da Peppina di Renato we finally felt we had found the real Italy. The atmosphere was a feast for the senses: authentic, steeped in history and tradition, with every detail in the décor arranged with taste and passion. Francesco, with his stories, guided us not only through the dishes but also through the soul of the island: its soil, its wines, and the deep roots of its cuisine. It felt as though we had been welcomed into the living memory of a family. The grandmother’s meatballs with pine nuts, in their rich tomato sauce, captured me from the very first bite. I truly felt as if they had been prepared by a nonna herself, with that love and patience only a grandmother can give. I can say, without exaggeration, that I had never tasted anything so delicious, so tender, so perfectly balanced. Then came the pasta with rabbit sauce and herbs. Wonderful! Followed by the traditional Ischian rabbit dish, which I had longed to try since arriving on the island. It was intensely aromatic, served with real, rustic fried potatoes. And yes, we followed Francesco’s advice: we even did "la scarpetta"!!! Dipping bread into the rabbit sauce was a revelation. We paired the meal with a local Biancolella, produced just a few houses up the hill: fresh, crisp, and mineral, with that volcanic rock note that gives Ischia its name as the "green island". The evening ended with two special digestifs. One was made of arugula, unique and vibrant, and the other was Piperna, a true spirit of the island. A must try! This was not just dinner, but a journey into tradition, authenticity, and warmth. Thank you from the heart for an unforgettable evening. We will carry this inspiration back to our own little Italian restaurant in Germany, and we hope to return soon, at least once more, to relive this magic.

What more can I say... the tradition and history of Ischian cuisine with expertly combined reinterpretations. The place is beautiful and exudes joy with a hint of nostalgia... all accompanied by the greatest voice and guitar on the island of Ischia. Well done guys (did you give your lighter back?)
