22/01/2025: I was here a while ago, and forgot to leave a review. A pearl of how there are no more: places like this, as well as being a rarity, are slowly disappearing. The lady works in the kitchen almost completely alone, with a boy as a waiter. At the end of the meal she told us about the shopping she does: she gets up early in the morning and goes shopping at her local suppliers. And you can feel it: we had a starter, first course, second course and dessert, spending the right amount (what you spend on low-quality all-you-can-eat restaurants). Everything is processed by the lady, Ascolana olives, fried foods and pasta. The wine was excellent. So I ask myself: why is McDonald's full and places like this empty? Places where those who are in the kitchen are there with love and passion, traits that really make you eat unique things. Go there

03/01/2025: Cibo genuino: pasta ripiena e gnocchi fatti in casa, carni succulente, cucina semplice e sapori di un tempo, senza sofisticazioni. Prezzi onestissimi. Vale la pena cenare in questa osteria dopo una bella passeggiata nel caratteristico borgo di Acquaviva Picena picena.

13/10/2024: Ci siamo fermati di ritorno dalla Puglia; guidati dalle recensioni Trip abbiamo fatto una digressione fuori dall’autostrada, trovando il locale in una piacevole posizione collinare Abbiamo assaggiato vari piatti tipici e in generale abbiamo mangiato molto bene: ci sono piaciuti i primi e anche l’antipasto con olive e (indimenticabili) cremini. Consiglieremmo solo di avvisare che i boccolottoni sono molto piccanti (sul menù non l’abbiamo notato, forse errore nostro, e il cameriere non ce lo ha evidenziato), perché la cosa potrebbe sorprendere qualcuno che non lo gradisce. Il servizio è cortese e i prezzi assolutamente onesti. Tra i contro segnaliamo un rallentamento del servizio per il quale abbiamo ricevuto le scuse del personale e un piccolo gradito sconto, la mancanza di sapone in bagno (in entrambi i portasapone) già prima dell’inizio del pranzo, la rumorosità del locale, che richiederebbe un intervento eseguito da esperti.

01/09/2024: This family run restaurant offers a beautiful countryside setting with a farm and a hilltop view of the Adriatic Sea. They have large outdoor and indoor family tables and several courses of local specialties including a mix of fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade pastas with ragu simmering all day, and a feat of fire roasted meats. Chef Mary Sgariglia masterfully prepares the feast and friendly service is offered for the tables with family style sharing of dishes. The outdoor space includes a large lawn area where children play and a view of the stars is clear on summer nights. There are also simple rooms for overnight stays above the restaurant. A beautiful escape to the country with close proximity to the beachfront vacation town, San Benedetto.
