01/04/2024: Had dinner alone in 15 minutes because I was passing through, I rarely write reviews but in this case I really feel like writing you a few lines.
Dinner €30 without drinks. Okay.
Classic sushi place, open for a few years and nothing has changed in recent years.
Usual menu with torn and worn pages. We are in 2024. I understand that buying 300 tablets with related applications is a significant expense economically but many other places offer solutions for ordering from your phone. Honestly, touching the dirty menu and pens touched by other people and then getting up again and going to wash your hands is not very comfortable. But oh well.
I ordered and everything arrived very quickly. Yes but why?
Most of the nighiri were at room temperature, the fish must be kept in the fridge!
The mise en place is fine but with criteria.
Beyond the bacteriological risks, do you have any idea how disgusting it is to eat non-cold sushi? With hot tuna or salmon at room temperature (18/20 degrees)
The waiters' station with the sauce pumps is not refrigerated.
I ordered 6 different types of uramaki.
You can't distinguish the flavours, seriously, it felt like I was eating the same thing with no differences, i.e. rice.
Rice yes but not sushi rice, it is a very cheap boiled rice but not sushi rice. I really hate people who tell others how to work, but yours is truly a joke. 30 euros for eating in an all you can eat 6 uramaki of really poor quality is too much. There are other even smaller, all-you-can-eat restaurants where they also focus on quality and not quantity.
I am writing the negative review because one is willing to pay even more for a fixed price menu. But the stuff has to be good. And someone has to tell you.
Change the fryer oil more often! And to top it off, there was no hand soap in the men's bathroom, I had to go into the women's bathroom for some soap.

Classic prices, nothing too different from other places. Private parking is not excessively large, during special evenings you should arrive early, however I highly recommend always booking, the place fills up easily and quickly.

01/04/2024: Excellent experience to try the typical flavors of Argentine cuisine in terms of meat.
First choice meat in various cuts, excellently cooked and properly presented. Recommended among the appetizers are the Argentine salami and the meat tartare and sashimi dish. There are some excellent children's menus.
Cleanliness, a warm and welcoming environment, a nice bathroom and kind and knowledgeable staff. Prices slightly high compared to the portions but justified by the quality.
Definitely worth trying if you want to eat excellent meat in Saronno.

31/03/2024: It's not the first time I've had lunch in this restaurant, and I'm sorry to have to note a significant deterioration:
1- In the quality of the dishes. I ate the paccheri stuffed with creamed cod and they were sticky and difficult to eat, the filling wasn't that great, perhaps with the addition of the potato which certainly increases the filling but dampens the flavors significantly, in short it disappointed my expectations. The second course was fish, a sea bass, ordinary. The dessert, a tartlet with goat's ricotta and candied fruit. The shortcrust pastry was hard, difficult to cut, a crispy wafer would have been better, terrible.
- Service, they brought us dirty cutlery and after asking for a change, they forgot and we had to ask. Table of 8, only one small basket with bread, we asked for a second basket, they forgot, we had to ask. Last but not least, they completely missed our coffees. We pressed and they told us they were queuing, after 15 minutes, we pressed and they told us the coffee machine had a problem. By now we were the only ones left in the place, the waiters were cleaning the nearby tables regardless of our wait. Two guests at our table had to leave so they didn't drink it. After another reminder and another 15 minutes, they brought them to us saying that they were free, too bad we had already paid for them at the register. We entered at 1pm and left at 4.30pm. You certainly shouldn't eat in a rush, on the contrary, but you shouldn't keep customers hostage with endless waits between one course and another. In short, I'm sorry but the disappointment is huge. The price is absolutely excessive for the quality of the food and the service. I will no longer book at Passerotto for any occasion.
18/03/2024: Beautiful venue and varied and not predictable typical menu. The cocktails are also excellent.

31/03/2024: Not recommended for celiacs and/or intolerants.
Table of several people, two with celiac disease, both of whom felt ill after dinner, despite the fact that the dining room staff told us and assured us (after asking several times) that there was no contamination (even for the pizzas and other dishes that could be made in the gluten-free version).
I find it very unfair to risk making intolerant people feel bad: 2 people at a table is no coincidence.

16/03/2024: Delicious pizza (the calzone “bocca aperta” is worth mentioning), as well as various other dishes.
We were there on a Sunday evening, the room was full (a bit noisy).
Service staff friendly and accommodating.
Prices are moderate and reasonable (pizza from Euro 7.50).
