A beautiful location, the property is surrounded by a centuries-old park and overlooks the shores of Lake Maggiore.
03/08/2025: Beautiful location, especially the outside...plenty of space and a pool. Surrounded by greenery with a wonderful lake view. My only complaint: it's too expensive to rent a wedding venue and there's no support from the villa staff...you can only rely on the catering staff.

05/01/2026: A pleasant discovery. Fresh homemade pasta, as well as the excellent and unique giardiniera with seasonal vegetables. The duck ragù is top-notch. For an appetizer and two first courses, the bill is a bit above average. The quality ingredients certainly make a difference. We'll definitely be back to enjoy other excellent dishes. 04/01/2026: My guidebook recommended this restaurant, located between Rocca di Angera and Santa Caterina del Sasso, and we had lunch here today. We were the only guests. The food was absolutely delicious. Molto bene. We felt very comfortable. The desserts are also highly recommended.

22/02/2025: Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Cucina casalinga abbondante. Prezzi contenuti. Accoglienza e servizio cordiali. Grazie!
04/02/2025: Trattoria datata ( ma giusto così ) a Monvalle. Ci tengo a precisare che ho mangiato con menu a prezzo fisso , quindi niente pretese. Pasta al pomodoro ……. neanche tanto buona ( e per fare un sugo buono non ci vuole granché’ ) parmigiano nella formaggiera che non era ne’ parmigiano , ne’ padano …… forse ementhal ( e non esiste proprio , perché anche nel peggior supermercato trovi delle buste con un grattugiato migliore ) passiamo al bollito : 3 pezzetti di cotechino ( buono ) e un pezzetto di lingua ( passabile ) + un pezzetto di carne grassissima ed immmangiabile ! Menu a 13 euro …… capisco tutto ma non ne valeva neanche 10 ! Peccato …….
