18/02/2025: Dinner during the week, reservation for two. It was a super enjoyable evening. The food and the atmosphere are top marks, warm and welcoming with a fireplace and well-furnished rooms. The waitress was very kind and attentive to everything, taking our jackets, helping us choose each course on the menu, which was rich but not confusing. Not too many dishes but well chosen and presented. The ones we got: exceptional. Like duck breast or little guitars with ragù. Plus all the little samples that the chef presented to us as a welcome, lentil cream, risotto with parmesan cream... and the appetizers. At the end of the evening we said that we were there to celebrate our anniversary... well, surprisingly they brought us a delicious carrot cake with a lit star, plus they wanted us to taste their homemade ice cream (a gem)... not to mention the buffet of sugared almonds and sweets at the end. An experience I would do once a month. The staff were attentive, friendly and very kind. The price? very honest, not what you might expect from a restaurant like this. I vote TEN!

31/01/2025: We were largely satisfied: everything was perfect, from the location to the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. We had the artichoke lasagna, tagliolini with meat sauce and octopus; the dishes largely met our expectations and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended and I will definitely return when I pass through Varese

23/02/2025: We found out about the 2 lanterne restaurant through friends and, taking them at their word, we tried it. Despite the elegant and refined atmosphere, the staff is friendly and easy-going, as well as very helpful and fast. The quality of the dishes is excellent (I mopped up the bread). We will definitely be back.

12/01/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato i 50 anni di matrimonio dei genitori. Tutti buoni, servizio veloce e buon vino. Anche per i bambini pronti con menù d dedicato e disponibili. Consiglio vivamente .

13/02/2025: Microbrewery, hamburger shop and pizzeria that took the place of the local Excalibur. burgers and ribs are very good, while the pizza, even if well stuffed, remains too chewy and needs to be improved a lot. The prices in my opinion are a little too high (like the French fries at €6 per mini portion). The excuse of saying that they are in line with other neighboring places is not acceptable! In any case, the personal environment is okay, while for food and prices they need to work on it for a moment Highly recommended

02/02/2025: Wonderful experience we were in the company of friends, delicious beers with a wide choice not to mention the meat. Really excellent choice (the steak was amazing), the pizza was also very good, the owner and staff were very kind and helpful, we will definitely be there again

Last but not least, in the bathroom you will find hygiene accessories, from hygienic wipes to dental floss. In short, a place that pays attention to the care of its guests. Super recommended!

22/01/2025: Excellent management, they welcome and pamper the customer. Room service sometimes disorganized, but they are still kind and helpful. The pizza is very particular, with a dough of 3 flours and sourdough, it doesn't stay on the stomach and is never burnt despite being super thin; the toppings on top are excellent. Good management of gluten free and other intolerances (with markedly different dough, but compared to other places it's worth it for the toppings and the certainty that it isn't contaminated). The food is also delicious, and finally a place where you can fill up. First courses, salads, abundant appetizers, I hope it stays that way. Clean and very nice environment, also recommended for dinners for two or birthdays.

16/02/2025: Booked in this restaurant, at the time of booking, I ask how they were doing with gluten-free cuisine. Answer: We have gluten-free first courses and second courses. Me: very happy for my daughter. We get there and let the waiter know about the celiac person.. At a certain point after the waiter had explained everything to my daughter, She could only eat 1 second course of meat, and not even one of the first courses... given that there were 3 types of risotto on the menu and my daughter couldn't eat any of the 3... With gluten free I would say zero rating...

16/02/2025: Not a bad restaurant! Indeed excellent! Varied cuisine, we enjoyed risotto with ossi buco and venison with polenta. Appreciated the lightness of the dishes, not at all difficult to digest. Applause for the service, very kind, normal prices, congratulations!
