If you've never tried Istanbul pizza kebab in Cuveglio, you should try it right away. It's huge, overflowing with top-quality meat, and the dough is cooked to perfection. A true delight for the palate, probably the best in the area. The kebab is always fresh, the meat is flavorful, and the portions are decidedly generous. The bread is heated to perfection, and the ingredients are fresh. The piadina is thin and crispy, and the spicy sauce has just the right kick. I have to give an honorable mention to their pizza kebab: if you've never tried Istanbul pizza kebab, you should try it right away. It's huge, overflowing with top-quality meat, and the dough is cooked to perfection. A true delight for the palate, probably the best in the area. The staff is quick and friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, and the service is super efficient even at peak times. Perfect for a quick dinner or a post-evening treat. Unbeatable value. A must-see in Valcuvia!
If you're passing through Cuveglio and don't stop by Istanbul, you're missing out on a piece of the valley's history. Awesome!

24/08/2025: It felt like a nightmare! An abandoned place; I didn't see a single person in three days! The room was dirty and never made up during my stay. Cobwebs everywhere, torn sheets. Ceiling lights were dirty and full of dead insects, and the faucets were rusty. Two light bulbs didn't even light up in broad daylight, so much so that I had to use my phone's flashlight to go to the bathroom. The stench permeated all my clothes, which I obviously couldn't wear during the three days. The outside had a few broken signs and a sad "Happy Holidays! Never Again" sign!

27/11/2024: Andiamo da anni in questo ristorante, il papà io lo trovo straordinario, ironico, si danno tutti da fare figlio e mamma in cucina e papà in sala, ci troviamo bene e in una location che ti fa spaziare con la fantasia, in estate all'esterno, il babbo fa miracoli avanti indietro e chi volesse risparmiargli un viaggio può sempre dare una mano andandogli incontro, ci andiamo volentieri, è casa.
22/09/2024: Tornando da una escursione sul monte San Martino cercavamo un posto per fermarci a "mettere qualcosa sotto i denti" e ci siamo imbattuti in questo Grotto.
Erano le ore 14 e la cucina stava chiudendo, ma il proprietario ci ha comunque accolto pregandoci solo di non scegliere piatti che avrebbero richiesto una lunga preparazione e cottura.
Abbiamo scelto perciò un piatto di ottimi formaggi e salumi misti, accompagnati da una torta di verdure , vari sottaceti e del vitello tonnato.
Per concludere abbiamo assaggiato ottimi dolci fatti in casa e il caffè.
Il prezzo è stato più che onesto e, andando a pagare abbiamo notato che hanno una cantina di vini molto ben fornita.
Ci torneremo questo autunno!

I'agriturismo è immerso in in un luogo incantevole che mette pace fin da subito.
Il luogo è pulito ordinato e la cucina ottima

La Sigora Nella è una donna speciale accogliente e cordiale che cerca sempre di nettare a su agio la clientela

02/02/2025: Viste le recensioni sono andato di proposito pensando di uscirne più che soddisfatto…Onestamente deluso soprattutto per il prezzo…colazione normale ma cara per quanto mi riguarda rispetto ai bar della zona…(7euro30 per due cappuccini e due brioches) ..colazione nella norma, sia i cappuccini sia le brioches con farcitura ai frutti di bosco … ma per quanto mi riguarda non esaltanti ne’ per pasta ne’ per farcitura .. onestamente non tornerò
