08/05/2025: The Re-Public House in Castronno is a bar that is a bit spartan in appearance, but overall it is a great place to have a drink with friends. Average prices, nice drinks, relaxed atmosphere. It's super convenient for watching football matches or F1 races with friends, there are always screens available on the veranda. The staff is helpful and kind, never intrusive. In particular, the upstairs is welcoming, ideal for relaxing and chatting more calmly. Perfect for an easy evening, without too many pretensions but done well.

05/06/2025: The behavior was not the best. I wanted to buy some pastries and he asked me how many pieces I wanted. I told him that I wanted to see the size of the tray first, but he insisted that I tell him right away how many pieces I wanted to buy. So I estimated about 10 pieces. Only then did he show me a tray that corresponded to the quantity I had indicated. This is not a welcoming attitude: he could have simply shown me the different tray sizes available, and I would have chosen the one I preferred, regardless of the number of pieces. By the way, I had already said at the beginning that I wanted a small tray. As for the sweets, there was not much variety. Good treatment can compensate for all the defects.

26/03/2025: Sono tornata dopo svariati motivi in questa pasticceria e devo dire che la cosa che me la faceva piacere non è cambiata e cioè il cibo è le bevande.Hanno apportato qualche modifica leggera al locale ma comunque è sempre molto carino,personale un pó vecchio e un pó nuovo,a mio avviso abbastanza gentile,prezzi sembrano rimasti uguali...

05/03/2025: Pranzo di mezzogiorno, locale molto carino e caratteristico, stile rustico molto accogliente e caldo. Polenta e cinghiale Polenta e asino Entrambi i piatti davvero cucinati bene, la polenta davvero buonissima e le carni tenere e gustose. Mezzo litro di vino rosso e due caffè. Complimenti davvero, ottimo pranzo!!

25/01/2025: Il posto è abbastanza ruspante, lo si nota dall’ingresso dove spiccano una serie di magliette da calcio appese. Il personale è gentile e preparato. La sala ha uno stile un po’ confuso, ci sono tavoli di fattura diversa e anche in un tavolo una panca invece delle sedie. Il cibo è buono (io ho preso il cinghiale in salmi con la polenta), ma la porzione più da ristorante gourmet che da Hostaria. Lo stesso si può dire del dolce: buono ma piccolo. Sono andato a casa e avevo ancora fame. Possono migliorare
