24/06/2025: Il locale è molto bello, curato, dentro e fuori, pulito e ben arredato.
Ogni tanto io e il mio collega abbiamo cenato o pranzato, ci siamo trovati bene anche per la qualità e la varietà dei cibi.
Però dopo ieri sera non credo che ci torneremo.
Porzioni scarse: due antipasti, gnocchi alla romana fuori menù veramente miseri, due dolci ( che fatica seguire il modo in cui il cameriere lì elenca, glieli ho fatti ripetere tre volte), due calici di vino servito aperto, senza nemmeno assaggio.
Il totale di 99 euro è stato veramente il colmo. Ho mangiato pesce di alta qualità in località marine di livello e non ho speso mai questa cifra.
Mi dispiace, si può fare di più nelle porzioni, di meno nei prezzi e parlare un italiano comprensibile.

01/08/2025: Il Caminetto has been a favorite of the family in Italy for many years. Some menu items change with the season, and everything is perfect every time. Lunch is generally walk-in, but dinner is busy and best to have a reservation. There is a warmth and love that you can sense in all dishes. It is worth diverting a drive from the Autostrada to get one of the best meals of your life.
23/07/2025: An average restaurant, I'd say it can be classified as one of many good restaurants, without excelling in anything in particular.
To sum it up, I'd say it's neither good nor bad, like many others in its category.

The dinner was excellent, with very interesting and carefully prepared dishes.
The service was excellent.

Best cake Ive ever eaten.
Part of my group didnt want to come to Torcello because: "theres a church and thats it."
Yeah, right!
This restaurant alone makes it worth a visit.
Plus the church is really nice aswell.
12/10/2025: This was our second visit to this wonderful restaurant. Our first visit a couple of years ago was so enjoyable, and unplanned. This time we knew we wanted to return, to enjoy the quiet of the island along with outstanding food offering.
The gardens to view as you eat are tranquil.
First class! We hope to visit again when we next come to Torcello.

04/05/2025: Nessuna indicazione sul menù né come funziona, solo mini porzioni di antipasto improbabili, bis di primo di cui un nido di tagliatelle abbrustolite con una pseudo fonduta. Per secondo la signora non aveva preparato nulla. Abbiamo deciso di andare via. Abbiamo pagato 60€ solo 1 bottiglia d'acqua e qualche assaggio. Mai mangiato così poco e male in vita mia... Ancora peggio perché consigliato vivamente dal NS albergatore.

05/10/2025: We returned after many years, having discovered that the place still existed with its spectacular sandwiches, and after a 40-minute drive!
Unfortunately, we discovered that the only thing that's modern about the place is its name. Unlike back then, when we had small children, we went with our little cocker spaniel and were denied entry!
The same owner from 20 years ago responded to me by telling me not to take him for being obtuse, but it's not about being obtuse or not loving animals; it would be enough to create an area for them, like the outdoor area, which is also off-limits!
Nowadays, all the places have adapted, even the Michelin-starred restaurants!
23/08/2025: The sandwiches are excellent, but the desserts are also worth it! The owners and staff are super kind and helpful! Definitely worth a try!

Torno in questa pizzeria dopo 10 anni aspettandomi di trovare le stesse buone pizze di allora, ma....
Nulla da eccepire sul servizio, ma le pizze erano abbastanza lontane dall'essere definite "buone pizze" , molto unte , impasto abbastanza gommoso, sulla mia il pomodoro è stato messo probabilmente dopo la cottura e buttato su alla belle e meglio.
Peccato.
Magari semplicemente una serata non ottima.

04/06/2025: Mi sono trovata veramente male , i proprietari mi guardavano con aria schifata, e mi hanno messo pressione per finire il pasto continuando a fissarmi facendomi capire che dovevo andarmene , oltretutto dopo aver pagato il conto , uscendo dal locale mi hanno deriso alle spalle.
Dei grandissimi maleducati devo dire.
Non tornerò più in questo locale.
(SE NON SI VIENE CON VESTITI ELEGANTI IN QUESTO LOCALE VENITE DERISI , SONO VERAMENTE DELUSA.)

01/11/2024: Ci siamo presentati alle 23 e non solo sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili ma abbiamo potuto ordinare da mangiare. Nonostante il tardo orario,il cibo era ottimo. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che vogliono passare una serata o nottata all'insegna del buon cibo e della buona musica!
