30/01/2026: An elegant restaurant with impeccable service. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent (for example, the à la carte appetizers and the off-menu dishes). Refined and tranquil atmosphere.

26/01/2026: Good morning, I celebrated my birthday a few days ago (Saturday, January 24) with an aperitif and cake. I have no complaints about the place itself, as I've been there before and it's very nice. The aperitif, considering that the €13 price includes both a drink and a platter, is very good. What I didn't like at all, however, was the service. Having worked as a waitress in a lounge bar in the past, I know exactly what it means, and I'm sorry to say that such service in a medium- to high-end establishment is unacceptable. I should point out that we were seated upstairs, and from what I could see, there weren't enough tables (even at the beginning of our stay) to negatively impact the waiters' service. However, there were some problems right from the start. First of all, we had to ask for two bottles of water—not ten, but two. I think at least three times—from the same waiter, who kept writing down the order, but apparently the water hadn't arrived. At the last reminder, he got a little impatient when they told him the water hadn't arrived yet. The same thing happened with our second order; the drinks arrived in spurts after several reminders, and I'm not talking about five minutes, but a 20-30 minute wait. The highlight, however, was the cake! I asked a waiter if he could bring it after about 20 minutes, along with two bottles of prosecco. After a while, a young man came with the two bottles and literally placed them in the middle of the table without an ice cream bowl or glasses. Obviously, he didn't even clear the table, which still had some plates and bowls left over from the aperitif. I'm not saying you need to clear the table, but at least clear the table a little, since with the cake, you might take a couple of photos and see the whole table full of glasses, etc. Anyway, after asking for a bowl for the bottles, they brought the cake and everything was fine. Yet another problem arose when, wanting to open the bottles, I didn't have any glasses. After waving my arms to get the waiter's attention, when I asked for glasses (impatient because I was almost bothering them by asking for BASIC things), the waiter in question replied, "Yes, of course I was waiting for you all to be there so I could bring you the cake and bottles." A ridiculous gaffe, given that the cake was in front of me and I already had the bottles; he could at least have come up with a better excuse. All this to say that for the price you pay (medium-high), I expect at least basic service, but instead we practically served ourselves: no clearing, endless reminders for everything, glasses and cutting boards being passed around because they couldn't simply set them on the table, absent waiters who didn't even know what to do. I've been here before, both for an after-dinner drink and for dinner. None of this happened; perhaps it's the aperitif that's lacking? What I know is that if this is the service, I don't think I'll return, much less recommend the place to friends. Certainly, even if this isn't your way of working and perhaps there were SERIOUS problems that affected the service, etc., I only celebrate my birthday once a year, and this kind of treatment is unacceptable. It's a shame because it's truly beautiful, even in the summer.
