Located in a quiet area but easily reachable from Mantua, this osteria is a little gem where tradition can be felt in every detail, from the rustic furnishings to the inviting aromas coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere is welcoming and convivial, perfect for a dinner with friends or an evening with family. The service is attentive but never intrusive, and you can perceive a genuine passion for hospitality. The homemade desserts, such as the sbrisolona with hot zabaglione, deserve a special mention: a perfect ending to a culinary experience that warms the heart. 25/06/2025: We came across this restaurant by chance, attracted by its proximity to the highway, during a trip with children. The environment is well-kept, but I would not recommend it to families as the atmosphere is a bit stiff. We ordered 4 first courses and 4 desserts. The pumpkin tortelli were good, but overall the dishes were average, nothing special compared to the price. The most unpleasant note came when ordering: we were told that each diner is required to take at least two courses (in our case, first course and dessert). This rule was not indicated anywhere - neither at the entrance, nor inside the restaurant, nor on the menu - and was communicated to us only when we were already seated at the table, which put us in a rather uncomfortable position. We should point out that the wine selection seemed interesting, even if we did not have the opportunity to try it. In short: average dishes, a salty bill, and a management that was not very transparent. A stop that we will not repeat.
