12/12/2025: Since they opened a few years ago, we've been there a couple of times, sometimes with friends from the area. The place is like a jewelry store for displaying items, cozy with small tables, and there's also a dining room downstairs. The pastry shop is quality, the service is professional, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is a pleasure.

22/02/2026: The view of the lake was stunning, and the food was top-notch. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, but that didn't detract from the experience.

21/02/2026: We discovered this restaurant for the first time this evening and were pleasantly surprised by the food and the friendly service. I recommend it and will return.

12/03/2026: I discovered this place thanks to a friend's birthday party, and I had a delicious braised beef with polenta. Even though I'm not from the area, I promised myself I'd return to try the elephant ear...here I am. 10 out of 10 for both quality and price. In Milan, I'd pay double for the same cutlet (actually, smaller). The welcoming and kind staff make you feel at home. I recommend it.

03/03/2026: I immediately loved this place. The refined atmosphere is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme (including the wallpaper!), with lots of unique and beautiful paintings, but not only that... centerpieces, sculptures, and decorations, all without being over the top. And all well-placed. Excellent pizza, including gluten-free. Delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. Seeing the bar, I ordered a gin and tonic. Super! Top service. The food is worth it. Perfect location. In the summer, the entire outdoor area has a wonderful view. In the winter, the view is always beautiful, with these large windows. They also have a limited number of rooms, and I would have loved to stay here, but unfortunately we had already booked somewhere else! Maybe next time.

09/02/2026: We happened to pass by (we are from Bergamo) for lunch and we stopped and we have to say that everything was excellent... tasty and really good dishes... two hot seafood starters and two fish main courses (the octopus is highly recommended)... coffee and rum with chocolate top... highly recommended... the waiter was very kind.

08/12/2025: We only stayed here one night, but the owners and their daughter were incredibly kind, helping us plan our next day. The room was spotless, the bathroom nearly perfect. I hope to return when they make the "cassola"!

01/09/2025: The atmosphere is lovely, located at a beautiful crossroads, and a short walk toward the little church offers a beautiful view. They have plenty of tables outside, some covered, and some inside, which I haven't had a chance to evaluate. The service is sometimes nice, sometimes annoying—so annoying?! At the register, there was an inviting menu, but when it came time to order, it wasn't the current one; the options were rabbit or sausage (maybe Wednesdays are different?). The sausage and polenta were good, but after reading about stew with polenta on the menu, I was left craving it! I ordered a slice of cake; it was very cheap, but I later discovered that this was because it was a supermarket-bought tart, so the price was reasonable. PS: The above is my review, not taking into account that it's run by volunteers, to whom, of course, my respect and thanks are due.

03/08/2025: Lunch at this refuge is always a treat. Also, visit the meticulously curated museum. Be careful of the Queen of England; you must use "Her Majesty" in her presence. Well done, well done, well done.
