The historic building welcomed us with a spacious, lovingly decorated room, whose atmosphere exuded warmth and history. The high-quality bed gave us a deep, restful sleep – a gift after a long drive.
But the heart of this establishment is its people: attentive, courteous, professional – yet full of dignity, friendliness, and tangible passion. Here, hospitality is not a duty, but a vocation.
And then the restaurant! Fine cuisine, detailed and inspired, that gives each dish a voice. You immediately understand why this cuisine is known beyond the region – a seat without a reservation is almost impossible to find, even on weekdays.
Conclusion: Osteria Marascia is a discovery every traveler wishes they had – a place they not only visit, but keep in their hearts.

12/10/2025: Ordered takeaway pizzas on delivery, I ask how much I owe and the bitter surprise €27, I ask for explanations regarding the cost since the online menu was different from the one ordered from the products to the price and I am told that it is 3 years old😏😏, not to mention the pizza for how much dough I would have expected a good pizza instead horrible I only appreciated the crunchiness.
18/08/2025: The pizza dough is not very digestible, very thin, the crust is hard, like cardboard.

25/10/2025: When we asked for a large toast, no one told us it wasn't possible because they had already prepared it! I had an Aperol Spritz, but it tasted like nothing but Aperol. The only positive aspect was the view of the lake, otherwise it would have been a total disappointment!
03/10/2025: Conveniently located on the Olginate riverfront, recently renovated with new benches and children's playground. A lovely stop during your stroll any time of year. Very friendly staff.

31/12/2024: Buono l'antipasto di pesce.
Le cozze alla tarantina erano veramente di dimensione striminzita: delle cozzette. Niente di che.
Per quello che concerne i tagliolini al granchio purtroppo nel piatto non si è riusciti a trovare che una traccia di detto crostaceo.
Mah....questa volta non siamo stati molto soddisfatti.
03/11/2024: Per una cena ho portato alcuni amici per assaggiare il buonissimo fritto di calamari che mi ricordavo come loro specialità, ma mi sono rimasta molto delusa perché nel piatto erano presenti tante belle verdurine fritte ( che costano poco) e qualche calamaro... SCONSIGLIO FRITTO MISTO COSTO 18 EURO CHE NON È POCO!

19/09/2025: I can only give MD in Olginate a full 5 stars, which is my go-to grocery store. It's very convenient to get to because it's just a few hundred meters from my house as the crow flies.
This recently built supermarket is truly beautiful and functional, with products so well-organized that shopping is a pleasure. I buy exclusively fresh food and short-life products here, and I must say the quality is excellent. The excellent discounts on food are frequent and truly convenient, making shopping very convenient. For the rest, namely long-life products and freeze-dried foods, I rely on online shopping: as an IT technician, I'm used to searching for stock online, and it's more convenient for me.
Another big plus is the parking lot: it's huge and I always find a spot without any problems, which is a real convenience. But what really makes the difference is that the staff is always kind, friendly, and helpful.
For all these reasons, I absolutely recommend it to everyone!
