I therefore add some information in the review that will allow your customers present yesterday and those who decide to have lunch with you in the future to know the facts from my point of view. 12.40 I show up with a friend at his restaurant. In front of us there was a couple who were also interested in having lunch with you. We are told that the tables inside are all booked and that if you want you can eat outside. Both we and the couple agree to have lunch outside at two separate tables. After a few minutes a waitress arrives giving us the table number, she does not give us any menu and does not ask us what we would like to drink. 1.00pm The same waitress delivers a menu to the other table without taking orders, I wave and get noticed by the waitress who sees me and signals that she will come to us too. 1.10pm As no one arrives, I enter the room and inform the same waitress that we are waiting outside. She lets me know that she will arrive. 1.20pm The same waitress returns to the other table taking their orders and informing them that there will be a wait to eat. So after spending 40 MINUTES in the cold outside the club without even having been able to order a drink, I enter the club and what the staff, she and her customers saw happens. Now I wonder how you can seat customers without warning them that they will have to wait at least 50/60 MINUTES before they can eat and without even taking their drink orders? I was also asked by one of the ladies behind the counter if I had initially asked her before sitting down, my answer was yes. Having said this, even if I had asked permission to sit with another employee, what would have changed? Is it expected that a customer upon entering the restaurant knows the room hierarchy and who to contact to be seated? I certainly wouldn't ask the kitchen staff, but whether I ask the cashier or the waiter I expect those in charge to be informed of the situation. I apologize if anyone was offended by what happened but from my point of view you should review the management of the room by clearly informing the customer of the waiting times. P.S. during the 40 minute wait at least two tables outside were occupied by people who, impatient with the wait, left.

28/12/2024: My partner and I had lunch in this small but very intimate and familiar place during our excursion to the Birch Plain in search of some snow, which however was missing. The managers were very welcoming and kind. We felt very welcome. We both ordered two polentas: one with taleggio cheese and venison sauce and one with taleggio cheese and salamella. Both polentas were rich in seasoning and blended into the sauces. The salamella was very tasty and went perfectly with the taleggio giving it an extra touch of deliciousness. For dessert we ordered two very good and fresh blueberry tarts. The price, perhaps a little high for my sensitivity, is repaid by the goodness of the dishes eaten and the friendliness of the managers. A good place to have a pleasant stop.
