20/10/2025: A lovely restaurant in the central square of Barzio. The interior is charming but very welcoming. The food is truly delicious and the portions are generous. The price for a standard à la carte menu is around €30-35. It's worth stopping by for lunch or dinner. The pizza is also excellent.

14/05/2025: A beautiful place to ski, and go bobsledding, possibility to rent equipment. There is a restaurant service on site. Parking under the cable car for 5 euros.

08/09/2025: The place is beautiful, a symbol of Barzio since forever. But this time I have to leave a somewhat negative review. Unfortunately, not much attention was paid to one of my guests' allergies, and they served food that wasn't suitable for his needs, despite our express request. It's a shame because on other occasions, we've always had excellent service and food quality.

07/09/2025: A historic restaurant in Barzio. The food is good and reasonably priced. It offers a full range of traditional Valsassina dishes. The restaurant is beautiful, with large, beautifully furnished rooms featuring copperware. At the entrance, a centuries-old wisteria fills the entire street with its fragrant scent. Inside, you can see a truly spectacular, ancient original well. Recommended.

28/09/2025: I went to this refuge for lunch last week. It was a terrible experience: even though there were a few free tables inside, I had to insist on moving inside due to a drop in temperature (which made the children cold), and after waiting over an hour after placing our order. After convincing them to move us inside, the dishes arrived slowly, not all at once, and were decidedly meager. My polenta and braised meat was just polenta with little to no braised meat. Finally, the last little gem: we were told that an uneaten platter had been removed from our bill because it arrived too late (we had already finished our first courses after an hour and a half of waiting). However, when we got home and looked at the receipt... alas, we were fooled: the platter had been added to our bill. Obviously not recommended.

22/08/2025: Located just a short walk from the cable car station, it's suitable for everyone, including children. Its elevated position offers views of the Bobbio plains. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service is quick, and the food is delicious with generous portions. I'll definitely be back.

11/05/2025: Una garanzia! Ogni anno dal 2020, torno sempre qui a deliziarmi il palato. Cucina fresca e buonissima grazie ai prodotti dell’orto e alla sapienza della cucina. Il servizio del gestore è sempre gentilissimo (oggi lo è stata meno la ragazza in sala). Meraviglioso il bosco attrezzato alle spalle dell’agriturismo nel quale si può pranzare al sacco e prendere il sole.
