27/09/2025: Very good set lunch menu, including pizza. Quick service. They open at 11:30 a.m., but food starts at 12:00 p.m.

20/10/2025: Good evening, I'm not used to writing reviews like this, but I can't pretend I didn't hear anything. I went to lunch with a group of friends (there were more than 10 of us) and we all left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied. We had a lunch menu that cost 65 euros a head, but it was actually worth less than half that. The first courses weren't to our liking, but the worst came with the second course... a two-millimeter-thick slice of meat full of fat. I personally couldn't eat it because it was so small. Some even thought it was pancetta, but it was actually brisket. It was all accompanied by burnt potatoes.
The dessert was a cake with chantilly cream, red berries, and strawberries. The cream topping was unsweetened, which made the whole thing tasteless.
This lunch was also accompanied by extremely poor service: a bottle of wine arrived more than thirty minutes into the meal, and then, instead of giving me a clean glass for the sparkling wine, I was told to wash the glass already soiled with red wine with the water on the table so I could reuse it! They then served us the bubbles in the red wine glass!
Outrageous!
We certainly won't be returning.

21/04/2025: Ottimo posto, che non dovrebbe chiamarsi osteria ma che sa regalare esperienze di livello ad un prezzo importante, ma accessibile anche alle fasce medie di tanto in tanto.
Entrèe con una polpettina di manzo, paradossalmente concentratissima di un sapore delicato,per antipasto salumi di prima categoria (il cotto con la salsa tonnata è notevole), in particolare la coppa, con giardiniera e frittata genuine e vecchia scuola e insalata russa molto casalinga.
Per il primo ho preso i tortelli di zucca, ben bilanciati nel loro intingolo di burro e salvia. Ho assaggiato anche le lumache e le tagliatelle col culatello, buoni anche quelli.
Per dolce ho scelto la torta margherita con la crema al mascarpone e non mi sarei aspettato tre fettone ricoperte da una crema così abbondante. Con un caffè ho concluso questo pasto memorabile.
I camerieri molto attenti e interessati, anche se è capitato qualche momento di titubanza nel servire i piatti (scaldati in scaldavivande 🤤), ma ci sta.
18/04/2025: Vengo all' Osteria da tanti anni, mai fatta una recensione. Ho sempre dato per scontato che non ci fosse bisogno visto il passaparola ormai rodato. Mio figlio mi ha fatto capire l' importanza del "feedback online" e perciò eccomi pronto a supportare i locali che mi piacciono. L' Umbreler è un posto che ha insegnato a tanti come si beve e si mangia bene. Cantina fornitissima con profondità di annate e grande selezione, menù che valorizza la bassa padana e utilizza materie prime d'eccellenza, servizio di ottimo livello, ambiente affascinante...
Un luogo intriso di storia, sapori e profumi.
