20/09/2025: Those who enjoy secluded spots with splendid lake views and aren't afraid of driving on narrow, winding mountain roads will definitely enjoy this place. The breakfast is fabulous, and could easily double as lunch. The owners are friendly and courteous. Recommended.

27/10/2025: We went into Baita del Vichingo to get two coffees. When we said we'd pay by card, the man at the register (presumably the owner) reacted by raising his voice and saying that for two euros he was "pissed off" (literally) and that "for two euros he'd give them to us." We understand that in a distant world, cash might be preferred, but in 2025, sometimes you don't have change. What surprised us was the way he handled the situation, seeking approval from those present and making us feel uncomfortable. A polite explanation would have sufficed. We chose to leave without consuming anything.
26/10/2025: A basic inn, service could be improved, and food is good. Prices are average. The view is exceptional, almost breathtaking.

23/09/2025: We were only there for dinner because our apartment was a two-minute walk away.
The starter was already really good, and the main course topped it off. Very tasty food.
The service staff spoke a little German, which was absolutely sufficient.
We'd be happy to go back 😀

26/12/2025: I cannot recommend this hotel. My room (3/4) is unrenovated. The positive reviews are incomprehensible. We had dinner and breakfast there, completely overpriced. A ghost in the form of a woman haunts the place; her dress looks like a rag, and her face would scare anyone in a haunted house. Her legs are wrapped open, she's wearing shoes straight out of the 1950s, and this is the woman who serves breakfast. It's enough to make you want to run away. Italy has beautiful women, and I get stuck with this dragon. The proximity to the lake doesn't justify the hotel's prices. The male chef did the best job. No motorcycle garage. September 13, 1924, will go down in history as the coldest day of the century, and it started at breakfast. Only the coffee was excellent, as is typical in Italy.
13/10/2025: Good and tasty selection, nice restaurant, good value for money, we would come again.

16/01/2026: We really enjoyed the experience. We went spontaneously and without knowing what to expect in August for our anniversary. We ordered the menu, spent three hours eating and were highly impressed. Never been that mesmerised by a food experience.
06/01/2026: A pleasant Christmas lunch in a welcoming atmosphere, but with increasing wait times course after course...dessert and coffee never arrived 😰

13/07/2025: Siamo arrivati alle 21.36 di una serata di luglio, piena stagione. Abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile mangiare qualcosa, 2 persone, e il cameriere guardando l'orologio e sbuffandoci chiaramente in faccia ha risposto ci avrebbe apparecchiato. Avremmo potuto andarcene, ma sono quei frangenti ai quali non si é preparati. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze, io in particolare la Livignasca, con bresaola rucola e scaglie di grana, chiedendo se possibile di sostituire la bresaola con il prosciutto crudo. Quando ci hanno servito, tanta rucola e il prosciutto si vedeva appena, apposto in piccoli pezzettini. Alle 22.45 circa, mentre stavamo bevendo il caffè, la musica é stata spenta, spente le luci e chiuse le tende. Chiaro messaggio. Ci alziamo per andare a pagare e il conto comprende il prezzo della pizza Livignasca con bresaola 13,00€ e l'aggiunta di prosciutto crudo 2,50€. Fatto notare... non sto a discutere. Pago e ce ne andiamo per mai più tornarci.
20/04/2025: Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Dünner Teig sehr gut. Der Preis ist richtig günstig. Salat und Dessert waren auch sehr gut. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

17/05/2025: Pessimo lo spaccio. Il titolare nell'incartare il formaggio lo ha fatto cadere a terra...non ha fatto nessun cenno lo ha preso reincarnato e messo nel sacchetto. Comportamento scorretto.... oltretutto senza neanche scusarsi. Non posso immaginare cosa succede in cucina
