14/06/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Funicolare as a couple for a few days and discovered the restaurant while taking our dog for a walk. It was quite late, but the blonde young lady was very friendly and still set the table especially for us. The food on all three evenings was really delicious 😋 I'd say it was hearty, home-cooked Italian food, even if the portions are a bit smaller, but it's also cheaper. The dessert is homemade and impressive 👌 It was very quiet there, unless there was someone sitting next to you who was loud. Although the lady was afraid of dogs because of a recent incident, our dog (knee-high) was welcome there. The WiFi is quite strong here. There is also plenty of parking. We can't comment on the rooms or the breakfast, but it's definitely worth a try.

12/06/2025: No, no, and no again. Never again. The portions wouldn't even feed a small baby, and the prices are too high. Very disappointed with the food and, in fact, with the entire region. We'll definitely never be back.

26/10/2024: Spectacular panoramic position, well renovated place, excellent beer, special pizzas. I couldn't say about the hotel. I only know the restaurant/bar

19/08/2024: Very beautiful and good hotel. The hotel is located in an exceptional location with a panoramic view of Lake Lugabo and the surrounding area. If you are in the region you absolutely have to take a little detour to pass by this magnificent place.

12/07/2025: The lasagna is simple but good, and the salad with burrata is delicious. Friendly service, and when our waitress smiles, it suits her perfectly 😉. In the village square, a little chime every 15 minutes is pleasant 🔔. Oh, the Raffo beer is fresh and delicious!! Truly amazing, a wonderful discovery.

03/07/2025: Great little place to have an aperitif in peace, in the cool and in a beautiful location. A good selection of wines and homemade cakes in case you want to have breakfast or a snack. Maybe the cold table could be improved, it remains a bit anonymous... Anyway, always highly recommended!

01/05/2025: Posto molto carino e roosbeef da urlo peccato il costo dell acqua a livello di Montecarlo…. 3.50 abbasserei questo costo…e il coperto inesistente una tovaglietta il cibo molto buono ma caro

30/04/2025: Ho soggiornato due giorni con mia figlia in questa struttura e cenato nel ristorante interno. La camera assegnata era ampia (in realtà era una tripla), con bagno molto stretto ma fornito di tutto il necessario. C'è stato un problema con il riscaldamento, che non partiva, ma è stato prontamente risolto. Il ristorante è effettivamente un po' caro ma la carne è stata eccezionale. Io non mangio molto spesso la carne ma la tartare era davvero speciale, così come il cheeseburger fatto in casa con carne e verdura fresca, le bruschette, il roastbeef e le verdire grigliate. Peccato solo per il brutto tempo che ci ha impedito di godere della vista che abbiamo solo intuito
