16/12/2024: A wonderful experience in a beautiful mountain hut, a stone's throw from San Fedele d'Intelvi and Lanzo. In the heart of the Intelvi valley I discovered a magical place, well furnished and decorated for the Christmas holidays. Fast and punctual service, without long waiting times. The food of the past, quality, cooked properly by expert hands. I was impressed by the quality of the meat (spectacular roast and roast beef), the polenta uncia was very good, the first course was excellent. Fixed menu at a super affordable price, around €30 all included. Try, try, try!
08/12/2024: Very welcoming traditional location, kind-helpful-professional staff, we were with friends and we opted for a rich menu, the dishes are excellent with generous portions.. Recommended.
And take advantage of the proximity to visit the balcony of Italy.

19/10/2024: The hotel is quite remote and the route is a bit complicated but apart from that you can't complain. The staff is nice and the food is much better than what you would expect from a 3* hotel. The garden is beautiful and the furnishings fit. The rooms are not necessarily the newest but have everything you need and the bathrooms are modern. All in all I can recommend the hotel.
18/10/2024: Absolutely great! The service in the hotel is very, very good. The employees are very friendly and try to make sure everyone is happy. The food is excellent.
I was here with my tour group for 5 days. Our guests were very satisfied. We can recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located in an exceptional location with
a panoramic view of Lake Lugabo and the surrounding area.
If you are in the region you absolutely have to take a little detour to pass by this magnificent place.

05/10/2024: Chiesto piadina classica bresaola rucola e grana, arrivato bresaola radicchio e grana, peraltro salatissimo (il grana) perché cotto insieme. Toast bruciato, tavoli ammassati, costretti dal personale a spostarsi di tavolo senza motivo apparente. Prezzo medio alto.
03/09/2024: The food was absolutely delicious. I had a wrap and it was very well filled and a lovely blend of flavours. On top of this the seating is in a lovely area with a water fountain and a balcony. However, the service was mediocre. The server didn't seem like they wanted to be there and spent most of the time chatting to friends on another table instead of attending to customers. She wasn't very friendly in greeting or in taking our order either. It did also seem a little bit expensive considering it was only a sandwich. However, We did go inside to pay and there was someone else inside who I presume was the owner who was very lovely and smiley, and again the food and location was brilliant.

02/05/2024: Il Sig.Buffa non c'è più , il locale ora è chiuso , sicuramente negli ultimi anni qualche problema c'è stato ma non è per questo che scrivo questa recensione ma per dire che Buffa e il suo posto mi mancano , mi manca la sua risata , le sue battute quando nelle belle estati si andava a prendere un caffe e un po' di allegria e il meraviglioso paesaggio che si vede dalla piazzetta.

26/08/2024: Ha cambiato gestione ,abbiamo mangiato una pizza .
Il pane della pizza troppo secco,prezzi molto alti soprattutto per le pizze.
24/08/2024: Bellissimo posto, menu’ con diverse proposte tra cui anche la pizza, che sembrava buonissima.. carne davvero buonissima, idem i ravioli dello chef.. semplici, ma gustosissimi!
