27/01/2025: Trattoria Consolini, in Travagliato not far from Brescia. Modern restaurant offering local cuisine with the possibility of a four-course menu or a choice from the menu. We looked for it to taste the famous "travagliatina" inappropriately called "Fiorentina" of horse meat which however must be booked in advance. We started with an appetizer of selected raw ham and tongue, good. Two first courses, Brescian tripe and ravioli; but we were looking for meat, so we chose the horse "fiorentina" having not ordered the travagliatina with potatoes. Very tender and tasty meat, the only complaint was that the dish was not heated and the meat tended to cool quickly. The side dish very good. Excellent wine, a satèn Franciacorta, which however I have not remembered. Desserts, mascarpone rum cream folders, good, homemade, but the shortcrust pastry perhaps a little hard.

06/02/2025: Delicious food, fresh ingredients, excellent value for money and very friendly and nice staff! I usually get poke, but I've also tried some takeaway and table sushi, spectacular! Good good good, excellent I'd say😍

08/01/2025: Siamo stati a cena un sabato sera in famiglia (io, mia moglie e mia figlia adolescente) e ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene. Il locale ha un’atmosfera accogliente, e i proprietari sono estremamente gentili e ospitali, facendoti sentire come a casa. Il cibo è di ottima qualità: fresco e gustoso, con porzioni abbondanti, ben lontane dagli standard degli all you can eat. I roll, ad esempio, sono decisamente più grandi e ricchi di sapore. È vero che i piatti richiedono un po’ di attesa, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena perché qui si percepisce una cucina autentica e familiare, lontana dall'idea di sushi "industrializzato". L’unico piccolo aspetto migliorabile è il menù, come segnalato anche da altri, ma questo non incide sulla qualità dell’esperienza. Nel complesso, una cena sorprendente e molto apprezzata da tutta la famiglia. Sicuramente un posto in cui torneremo volentieri!

17/02/2025: I'm sorry to have to give it 2 stars because it was recommended to me as good, I don't know if it was because it was the weekend and there were a lot of people but I wasn't satisfied at all. I ordered it to take away and they were on time, but all 5 pizzas were very dry (the marinara really looked like a Frisbee and crumbled in your hands). In my case I took a gorgonzola and pears and there were 6 cross-shaped slices of pears, which when eaten looked like apples due to how hard they were, and the gorgonzola wasn't distributed very well so I didn't get it for half the pizza and then one slice was very full. Really a shame. Oh and a friend of mine even found a curly hair in her pizza and among the 5 of us none of us were curly.
