09/08/2025: We booked for four people, driven by curiosity to try dinner after being invited to a wedding and for a quick aperitif with friends. The location, both inside and out, is very pretty, rustic yet welcoming. We ordered a Morso46 platter for four people as an appetizer, with mixed cured meats and cheeses and a small portion of giardiniera. The quality was good, the portion was small, but for the price it was fair. For four of us, we ordered two first courses and two second courses, two melted cheeses with polenta, and a side of potatoes with a bottle of wine. The first courses were very good, the portions just right. The two ribs were served with different cooking times; we reported this and it was corrected. We unfortunately noticed that the cut of meat was different, despite the kitchen claiming otherwise, but the color of the meat was obvious. In any case, good quality. Two desserts and we asked for the check. Total €40 each. The price was fair for some dishes, but the rib steaks were a bit high, in my opinion, considering it's a farmhouse restaurant and the portion size. The service was good, and the staff were friendly. I'll probably return for an unpretentious dinner, without expecting too much!

We enjoyed a first course with vegetable lasagne and crepes with fontina cheese and ham, then chicken spinach and sliced ​​meat with rosemary as second courses and mashed potatoes as a side dish. To finish on a sweet note, tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything is strictly homemade and you can feel it: genuine flavours, the right portions and great attention to detail. More than honest bill, perhaps even too low for the quality offered: Excellent surprise, we will definitely be back!

Italian law stipulates that a coperto must be clearly and visibly marked, e.g., on the menu or clearly legible at the entrance. That wasn't the case here, at least for us. The real shock came later – the bill wasn't examined more closely until we got to the hotel. On site, the waiter was polite, friendly, and even tipped – because the service seemed pleasant at first. In retrospect, you feel deliberately deceived and exploited. Yes – the total price was still reasonable, especially compared to Germany or other tourist areas. But that doesn't justify tricks or unfair billing. Honesty costs nothing – and would have led to a completely different rating here. Had everything gone correctly, 4 stars would have been realistic. Instead, all that remains is anger and disappointment. A clear warning to tourists: If you don't look closely, you'll end up paying for things you never ordered. The friendliness is a facade – the bill reveals the true colors. 2 stars – and that's only because the pizza was still acceptable. The rest was disrespectful. --- The pizza was discreet – nothing special, but acceptable. Purely, it's the only positive aspect of this experience.
