15/08/2025: I had the gelato here, and I have to say it's excellent! Both in terms of price and quality, it's good and of a good quality compared to other places in Ponte Caffaro.

12/10/2025: + The space is beautiful and refined, everything feels new. The food is good (though not amazing) - the linguine with clams was average, a little bland, the octopus was great and the seared salmon was good. The tiramisu is one of the best I've had in Italy. We managed (in October) to get a table without a reservation (on a Saturday night). - The service was inattentive and a bit rushed - being tourists we weren't as well dressed as the other customers, there were 2 mistakes in our orders (drinks and dessert). A note: it was Saturday night and the restaurant was very crowded, which may have impacted the quality of service. At 9 pm the noise made it impossible to talk. A bit expensive in terms of quality/price ratio. It tries to be a refined restaurant, but on a Saturday night it didn't succeed, considering the quality of the food, the service and the noise.

05/10/2025: A top-notch restaurant in Ponte Caffaro, nestled between two rivers. It has a terrace in a beautiful garden with views of the surrounding mountains. The food here is always delicious and very special. The wine is delicious, and the service is also excellent. We dined here in 2024, this time indoors because the weather wasn't great. The atmosphere inside was also lovely. This time we had 1kg of mussels (sauté di Cozze) to share as a starter, which was superb. Then we had Raviolini di Brasato and Bracioline di cervo (venison chops). Everything was equally delicious. We'll be back next year. Thank you. We also enjoyed it twice in 2025: once a delicious lunch with Italian friends, and a few days later a superb dinner.

18/02/2026: We went as a "group" of 6 on Carnival Tuesdays. An experience to forget. We're used to eating (and well) at Bagolino, but today we were truly disappointed. Service was poor, sloppy, and completely confusing. Last but not least: we ordered first and second courses, even though everyone else was eating pizza, and the waitress came back to tell us they only have one person in the kitchen, that it would take a very long time, etc., making us understand that we should order a pizza (and here I understood why the entire restaurant was eating pizza). Now: as a customer, on Carnival Day, you can't offer such a service by forcing customers to eat pizza. Also because Bagolino isn't pizza; there are plenty of local dishes. I don't recommend it. Choose something else.

25/01/2026: Excellent pizzas made with sourdough, family atmosphere and friendly service. Honest prices for product quality. When in the area we return often.

27/09/2025: A very beautiful, old-fashioned place. Simple, clean rooms, with daily linen changes and housekeeping. The restaurant portions were generous, and the food had an authentic, home-style flavor. The owners were also very kind and helpful, especially the lady who runs the dining room. Highly recommended.

27/08/2025: I ordered an egg, cheese, and speck. The plate was small, and the speck was nonexistent, as was the cheese. As per the photo in the review, I didn't even get bread. The wait time for a fried egg? Over 25 minutes. Other tables were served first, even though they arrived later. I should point out that there were only four of us. I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience. The prices, finally, were too high for the quantities served... at least on the dish I ordered! It was a small one.
