12/09/2025: We bought the Baci cookies. They are simply delicious. The ones with chocolate and especially the ones with pistachio filling. We enjoyed every single cookie and bought three packs to take home. You have to be quick for the pistachio Baci cookies, otherwise they'll be gone quickly.

05/11/2025: I went with friends to spend an evening together. All good also for the availability of the staff. I continue to frequent this place because the restaurant and pub products are of excellent quality. Prices are average. The managers are very kind and helpful people. In winter you can spend evenings where you can find groups of people singing live. Furthermore, it is possible to follow sport, especially football, both at championship and cup level.

01/11/2025: The pizza was excellent, the ribs were very tasty, and I recommend ordering them BBQ. The Irish beef picanha was very tender and cooked to perfection. The servers were very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

18/10/2025: Lovely waiters, very knowledgeable and kind. Some speak French. The food is excellent. When we came in October, we were treated to an extra porcini mushroom with our meals. Fabulous. The next morning, we had an excellent breakfast. It's possible to stay overnight in the large parking lot at the edge of the park.

15/11/2025: We came here for lunch on a Tuesday, & had completely forgotten that it was the market day in Sanremo, & it was also a public holiday in France, so everywhere was very crowded. However, we managed to get a table for 2 at the last minute. The staff were very friendly & helpful, & the food was delicious. We had salads, lobster linguine, & for dessert a marrons glace’ tiramisu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

02/10/2025: We spent 3 days in San Remo and went to the Porta Verde twice. We tasted 4 different dishes and 3 different desserts. Everything was delicious, refined, and tastefully prepared. 29/07/2025: A very pleasant little restaurant with a magnificent view. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. The Italian specialties we ate will remain unforgettable. A romantic meal to repeat.

28/07/2025: We came from Sanremo specifically, intrigued by the reviews and our passion for Poggio, but we were disappointed. The lady who takes the orders, besides repeatedly reiterating that the chef was alone in the kitchen, asked us annoyedly if we could order at least two people the same thing. So we agreed to her, and she suggested we share appetizers for two. The fact is, at the end of the day, she charged us 72 euros for four appetizers. The food was excellent, nothing to complain about, but the kitchen was completely disorganized. The carafe wine was terrible at 12 euros for half a liter, so we had to order a bottle. In short, for a modest restaurant, the service was modest, the food good, and the prices were unreasonable. It's a shame, we would have happily been regulars, like we always have been going to Montecalvo. WE STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
