We enjoyed fried anchovies and calamari with an excellent filling, followed by gnocchi with shrimp and trumpets and calamari and chickpea soup, always of good quality and taste. We finished with a delicious dark chocolate cake and a lemon and sage sorbet. Nice and kind service. Just one note that doesn't take away points because of all restaurants now: I go to restaurants to taste new things that aren't easy to prepare and then if you add a good wine it's even better. He asks me 5 euros for a glass of prosecco when at home I have a Valdobbiadene DOCG that I pay 4 euros per bottle: it seems to me that he is exaggerating... In the end I drink a bottle of water and the wine afterwards. In the end, one less profit for the host.... However, for dinner we paid 74 euros and it seems well spent to me

The quality and preparation were very good, as was the presentation and the ambience. The Prosecco was also delicious and perfectly tempered.
The gentleman is very friendly and accommodating
We liked it very much
Everything is freshly prepared.
The Acciughe frites are even better than my Zia, which I have never experienced before. The pesto was also delicious Grazie mille.

03/10/2023: Forse, purtroppo, chiude. Questo ristorante, con magbifica terrazza, carta dei vini di qualità, menù molto valido con sempre qualche piccola novità, personale molto “dog friendly” potrebbe forse non riaprire. Così, mi ha detto il gestore con aria triste. Non mi è dato di sapere il perchè, non mi sono permesso di indagare. Spero veramente che possano tornare sui propi passi.
01/10/2023: Sabato sera 30 settembre, visto che al momento della prenotazione mi avevano detto essere chiusa la terrazza, appena arrivato vengo fatto accomodare nel giardino.
Il servizio sarà gentile, celere e preparato alle mie domande sui vini, ma sarà il cibo quello che più mi soddisferà, il tutto in un contesto veramente gradevole nonostante gli avventori della tavola dietro alla nostra, decisamente rumorosi, ma non è certo colpa del locale.
Di antipasto prendo un brandacujun cucinato in due maniere, la classica e in tempura, accompagnato da una salsina con una forte ma gustosissima preminenza d'aglio: buonissimo.
Come secondo un fritto di totani e gamberi in pastella, abbondante ma delicatissimo nella frittura, quindi oltre che buono super digeribile, menzione d'onore al filetto di tonno preso da chi era con me: materia prima veramente eccellente, una crosticina delicatissima, il tutto su un letto di caponatina che, assaggiato, mi ha fatto strabuzzare gli occhi per quanto buono.
Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto da un pigato morbido che era un piacere, conto totale per 4 piatti a base di pesce, una bottiglia di vino, coperto e acqua 105,00 euro: non ho mai pagato con tanta soddisfazione, questa è stata una delle sempre più rare volte nelle quali, uscire a cena, ne vale veramente la pena.
A Diano il miglior posto nel quale abbia mai mangiato.

24/03/2024: Went for a quick bite to eat during the lunch break of the U18 local volleyball finals. A friendly but distracted waitress, in fact she forgot to bring the requested carafe of wine. It had to be urged. The girls of the team ate quickly as expected, a table of companions more or less also. The other waited about an hour. The tagliolini with lobster arrived with the raw crustacean like sushi. When sent back it arrives a bit more cooked but still on the raw side. Ate the tagliolini and the cooked parts of the crustacean. Pointed out at payment, 4 euros discounted on 18 because I ate it and didn't send it back a second time. Explained that I had no more time to wait and had to eat.
Personally, place to avoid. The lunch had been booked, so they were aware of the expected numbers.
I won't go back, you do as you wish.

07/04/2024: Dinner with friends, we decided to try it given the very good reviews, well we can only say that the reviews were truthful, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and dynamic, the price was very fair. Fabulous children's menu. Congratulations, we'll see you again soon!

The food was all good from mixed fried food to spaghetti to pizza.
The staff very friendly and patient.
Prices proportionate to the context.
