24/11/2025: The following review is based on two lunches, but the hotel doesn't, so I can't comment on the rooms. The property, being on the hillside just a few kilometers from Pieve di Teco, offers plenty of seating. That road was once the only one available, so I imagine the owners left everything unchanged. The furnishings, tables, and chairs are from the 1980s. The place is clean and tidy, with no pretensions. There's no real parking, but they make do. The restaurant is on a crossroads in front of the property, with about 3 parking spaces, or along the road. Getting to the point, I noticed confusion about the "service." It seems the staff is improvised; they don't have the skills of a professional waiter. For example, they bring the menu and the customer chooses. They also list the dishes without mentioning the price unless the customer asks for it. In my opinion, it's not good. It should be listed on paper or on a blackboard.
As for the food, my rating is no higher than more than adequate. The pizzas, given that they have a wood-fired oven, are edible, but I wouldn't order them again. The dough sticks to your stomach. It's not a pizzeria. I ended up with a much more expensive bill than other restaurants in the surrounding area, and I can't say enough about it. I'll be back.

29/10/2023: Che dire? Posto scoperto per caso navigando on-line, in quanto cercavamo un posto dove pranzare in compagnia di amici, sulla strada di ritorno per Cuneo.
Già al telefono la titolare (presumo fosse lei) si è dimostra cordiale, simpatica e ampiamente disponibile alle richieste che le abbiamo mosso (avevamo chiamato alle 12 per pranzare alle 14, complice anche il cambio dell’ora).
Arrivati abbiamo parcheggiato sul bordo della provinciale e ci siamo recati all’ingresso, dove ci ha accolti proprio lei con simpatia.
Accomodati ci ha portato, come da noi richiesto, vino dolcetto e acqua.
Ci ha proposto un giro di degustazione, gli antipasti tanti e tutti buonissimi, personalmente la farinata è stata la mia preferita.
Purtroppo eravamo molto sazi, complice una colazione tardiva, per cui abbiamo solo preso un primo (gnocchi ai formaggi) e una piccola degustazione di dolci fatti da loro; entrambe le portate erano squisite.
Infine, il conto più che onesto 28€ a testa comprensivo di caffè e zuccherini digestivi.
Consigliatissimo per chi vuole pranzare in un ambiate informale, ma di sostanza.
24/09/2023: It’s a simple fixed menu home-style restaurant. Mixed appetizers, two pasta dishes, two meat dishes and dessert. Being vegetarian we only ate the appetizer which is mostly pizza and vegetable - cheese based things; we shared a side dish ( peppers, fried potatoes) and had dessert. No wine no coffee just water. Homemade bread was nice, insalata russa and fried bread dough balls were good. Host accommodated a change by substituting salami in appetizer with cheese. Being presented as a home-style cuisine we expected a heartier tasting dessert, but it was unremarkable. Paid 25€ each and had the impression it was a oddly counted (unsure how much the complete meal would be). A few euro less would have seemed in order.
