28/03/2025: I haven't visited Castellaro since 2009, and risking a visit to see our dearest friends, we all ventured to the Braia.
We were received with great warmth as if we hadn't been away.
The hosting, the food and the reception had not changed. It was the great warmth we were met with that meant the passing of those years had all been forgotten. It was like we were regulars.
Thanks to GM, Franca and Stefano for your perfect, Italian hosting.

20/05/2025: A 4 STAR IF IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF BETTER OUTSIDE THE POOL EDGE AND GARDEN ROOM WITH WEEDS POORLY MAINTAINED GROUND CURTAINS IN THE ROOM WITH VARIOUS TEARS AND SEWINGS POOL WITH STONES INSIDE IN THE EVENING THERE WAS NO WAITRESS/WIFES SERVING THE TABLES FOR THE REST EVERYTHING WAS GOOD FRIENDLY AND NICE STAFF AND A 10 ⭐ TO THE CHEF DOMENICO HE COOKS DIVINELY👍👍

Comfortable room, impeccable cleanliness.
Very warm welcome, friendly and professional staff, excellent restaurant with Chef Domenico and staff Gretta and Suzanna.

27/08/2023: * Réservation obligatoire dans le seul restaurant de Castellaro.
* Il y a clairement un problème de places de parking, vaut mieux arriver tôt.
* La cuisine est fine mais les portions sont un peu justes. J'ai commandé les entrées variés et le thon aux tomates, heureusement qu'il y avait du pain.
* En Italie, les plats de sont pas accompagnés de garnitures, il faut payer un supplément. De plus, vous paierez un supplément obligatoire " Le droit aux couverts". (Couteau , fourchette, verre, pain et serviette)
* Sinon le service et le cadre sont corrects.
