24/08/2024: The penultimate week of August we stayed with my wife in a hotel in Castellaro, I frequented the Arma di Taggia beach, and I had lunch and dinner there....then I discovered L'osteria della braia in Castellaro where I was able to taste exquisite typical Ligurian dishes, and an excellent pizza, with acceptable costs in a very intimate and quiet little square under the olive trees, good owners who manage it with attentive and courteous staff.

08/08/2024: Locale accogliente, non pretenzioso…. Tranquillo…. Vista mozzafiato… oggi qvevano un menù ridotto, ma vi assicuro le portate era deliziose….
20/07/2024: Siamo tornati in questo ristorante, che gode di una posizione panoramica eccezionale, dopo qualche tempo. Il proprietario ha dovuto, per ragioni personali, ridurre il numero dei tavoli ed il menu. Ora offre scelta tra 4 primi 2 secondi ed i dolci.
La qualità dei piatti però è rimasta di ottimo livello e se uno gradisce un pasto semplice con i sapori del territorio è il posto giusto. Il bel santuario seicentesco della Madonna di Lampedusa a pochi metri, completa il quadro.

Non-functional sanitary facilities.
Noisy and outdated air conditioning.
Cloudy swimming pool therefore questionable maintenance.
No sea view despite a deluxe room
View of the highway, electricity pylons and trash cans….
Outlying location, far from any center of interest!
22/08/2024: Be careful, no response after arrangement on the phone, cancellation following flu and medical certificate.. goodbye to my 190€ even though I was assured that we would make arrangements when I called well before check-in time.. how do you go about it? not to be ashamed?

27/08/2023: * Réservation obligatoire dans le seul restaurant de Castellaro.
* Il y a clairement un problème de places de parking, vaut mieux arriver tôt.
* La cuisine est fine mais les portions sont un peu justes. J'ai commandé les entrées variés et le thon aux tomates, heureusement qu'il y avait du pain.
* En Italie, les plats de sont pas accompagnés de garnitures, il faut payer un supplément. De plus, vous paierez un supplément obligatoire " Le droit aux couverts". (Couteau , fourchette, verre, pain et serviette)
* Sinon le service et le cadre sont corrects.
1
