Informal atmosphere, a true "old-fashioned" trattoria, very kind and helpful staff, a very good and generous traditional Ligurian "meat" menu, excellent quality house red and white wine... very crowded, but on Sunday lunchtime everyone wants a seat 😉
01/02/2026: If you want a fake restaurant with designer products that can make a good impression... don't come here. Here you'll find TRUE local quality, without mentioning that the salami is made here and the coppa is made there... the pasta is handmade by one person or another, and above all, the crostini with chestnut flour for the lard... or the wholemeal bread... are made with flour from the mill of... (You can tell they weren't bought at the supermarket). If you add that all the staff are excellent at helping you with every need throughout the meal and the price is more than fair... I'd say it's worth coming and trying... even if I don't think my advice is needed... Great... highly recommended, 8 stars from me.

09/03/2026: A joyful reunion in San Colombano with old school friends. We agreed on a fixed menu for €35: Ravioli with meat sauce, Batolli in walnut sauce, Mandilli de Sea with potatoes and green beans, Ligurian-style rabbit, Italian-style mixed fried fish, dessert, coffee, after-dinner drink, water, and wine included. All home-cooked food was delicious. The excellent ravioli with meat sauce and the ravishing rabbit were especially delicious. The portions were generous, so much so that we all went home with a doggie bag. Attentive and cheerful service. The very fair price is listed above. We'll be back soon because it's truly worth it. Congratulations, dear "Di Storti."

07/12/2025: Lovely dinner with friends. A quiet restaurant. Donatella welcomes you with a smile, and you're already relaxed. Traditional cuisine featuring recipes from the Ligurian hinterland. The menu is very pleasant, with choices in Genoese, Italian, and English (in that order). "Homestyle" dishes made with local ingredients. Good wine. A good Pigato. More than reasonable prices. Parking is easy. We'll definitely be back.

01/01/2026: We went there for lunch today with a couple of friends and two dogs... what can I say, everything was more than excellent, excellent quality and generous quantities, good house red wine.
We had appetizers (the head in a box was amazing)
And samples of the four first courses: pansoti in walnut sauce, cannelloni, ravioli, and baked lasagna with pesto...
More than excellent price.

09/11/2025: Lunch with the family, excellent welcome, smiling staff, lots of choice on the menu and off the menu, just the right portions, pleasant and not noisy atmosphere, wide choice of wines, all the dishes very tasty, we had a really good time, if you need any advice, I would go back tomorrow too!

25/08/2024: Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo è un giudizio che, pur corretto, non rende giustizia al Cason, nella misura in cui omette di sottolineare l’eccellenza delle materie prime del territorio, la cura delle preparazioni (semplici ma senza sbavature), la gentilezza dell’ospitalità e, dato non trascurabile, l’incanto dei prati e dell’anfiteatro del monte Ramaceto che l’avvolge. Da non perdere!
11/08/2024: Qualsiasi cosa scrivessi non renderebbe merito. Posso dire che è come essere a casa nei giorni di festa quando fai qui pasti con famigliari ed amici! Tutto buonissimo e persone fantastiche.

05/07/2025: Situato in mezzo al verde, vista sulle vallate e direi una piacevole scoperta questo agriturismo dove i piatti genuini si fanno mangiare con gran piacere.
Il vino di loro produzione essendo zona minerale è particolare ma piacevole. L’Oste e la figlia molto gentili… Consigliato e sicuramente da tornarci.

Appetizer: 4 cured meats: testa in cassetta, pancetta, salami, and lard.
Nothing special, but pleasant, especially the lard, although very salty.
For starters, lasagna with meat sauce or mushrooms, very good.
Then, tagliolini with hare sauce, perhaps a little overcooked, and with the hare probably having escaped before being added to the sauce. Still, quite pleasant.
Then, a bit of a wait, and here comes the asado with salad, cooked on the outside as it should be.
Good, plentiful. We even order a second round, and they even ask us if we want more.
At festivals, they give you crumbs, in comparison.
The house cake is forgettable.
Start the round of grappas and limoncino, until you're full.
Cost: 30 euros per person (is it worth it?) receipt? Bye bye.
(But it's an ACLI club)
