26/08/2025: Dinner with a group of friends. I tried the beef tartare, the pappardelle with hare, the linguine with anchovies and butter, and the tagliata with green peppercorns. I found every dish delicious, both in flavor and artfully presented. The portions were also adequate. It's definitely not a cheap place, but the quality is high.
25/08/2025: Osteria Belvedere is located in a wonderful place, steeped in history, culture, tradition, a love of enduring things, and above all, splendid and vibrant nature. It's a place where the soul, heart, and mind communicate through the emotions conveyed by wonderful flavors, created by the heart and soul of people who love what they do. These aromas and emotions materialize in wonderful dishes, all to be savored and beyond special because they are imbued with simplicity and sentiment, but above all, TRADITION. The artful, more than perfect preparation pairs perfectly with the highest-quality ingredients, used with incredible skill. All this makes ordinary food uncommon. Extra virgin olive oil worthy of the name, spectacular black truffles, cured meats with incredible aromas and flavors. Osteria Belvedere is certainly among the best Osterias in the area. Everything done here becomes a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that can arise in those who savor the flavors of the past, the simple and genuine ones. The cuisine at Osteria Belvedere is pure talent, the rediscovery of a true, all-Italian tradition. Emotions of the soul are enhanced by Chiara's smiles and infinite kindness. The service is characterized by a very high level of professionalism, extremely rare to encounter precisely because it is informal yet punctual and precise, always masterfully conducted by the very sweet Chiara. The products and preparations are characterized by a bouquet and persistence on the palate of the highest quality and delicacy. A continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begin with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminate in the perfection of evolution from the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the raw materials of the highest quality. The technique is a comprehensive and expert demonstration of knowledge of Umbrian local products. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. Secondary elements are never used to overwhelm the main ingredient but always accompany it, allowing the palate to distinguish one flavor from another. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. Richness, savory, sweet, crunchy. This is the common thread running through any dish. The wine, both white and red, is excellent and perfect for the chosen dishes. Dry, fresh, and just the right amount of fruitiness, it blends harmoniously with the flavors of Umbrian tradition, enhancing their flavors both on the palate and at the end. The restaurant is located in the cellars of a historic building, offering a welcoming and refined atmosphere. A large stone fireplace warms the space in winter, and in summer you can enjoy outdoor seating overlooking a splendid panorama. The quality of the products is probably among the best you'll ever experience, because they're selected with obsessive attention. Everything is IMPECCABLE because it's SIMPLE. I wish I could transport this place anywhere, along with those who are part of it, to make every moment unique and wonderful. Without a doubt, it's the best you could wish for, and it will always go far beyond your wildest expectations. That's why I'm grateful for what will be and what has already been. 04/09/2025: It's neither credible nor possible that at 7:30 PM the wine in bulk is sold out and that a bottle of less-than-stellar wine is served for €12. Nor that the staff fails to meet customer needs and requests (allergies). Long waits for orders.
31/08/2025: While in Bassano in Teverina, my wife and I stopped in for dinner. The pizza (typical Roman style) was excellent, and the staff (two young women) were friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a set menu with appetizer, pizza, dessert, and coffee for €18.

12/05/2025: Location molto curata e di classe ma voi avete mai pagato 10 euro per un uovo fritto rinsecchito immangiabile e quindi lasciato nel piatto? ( 10 euro a parte per poche scaglie di tartufo che non aveva ne profumo ne sapore). Abbiamo commentato "gusto patata cruda". Oppure 16 euro per un assaggino ( coccetto ) di parmigiana?...Io si...In questo ristorante . Proprietario molto eloquente e gentile ma la qualità tanto decantata non coincide con le belle parole Ti fanno pagare anche l'aria che respiri. Non consiglio
04/05/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura alberghiera che nasce come albergo diffuso con un corpo centrale e diverse soluzioni e scelti opzione mezza pensione con cena Borgo piccolo ma ben curato con le difficoltà dei posti poco serviti dalla rete ma con il wi fi si riusciva a sopperire nelle ore in struttura La struttura alberghiera rispecchia le dimore della zona, alternando pietra e legno; stanze confortevoli alcune con possibilità di affaccio altre con finestre piccole tipiche delle mansarde o abbainii; colazione normale con prodotti commerciali e qualche prodotto di produzione propria ( magari più scelta su prodotti del territorio per far degustare colazioni tipiche) Il ristorante merita una eccellente menzione: prodotti a km zero o di altre regioni con attenzione ai piccoli produttori; piatti preparati al momento che giustificano un poco di attesa in più; gustosissimo il pollo in crosta di sale e il percorso sensoriale degli antipasti; buonissime le trofie al pesto; suggerirei un piccola variante di pesce e di verdure per chi come me non mangia carne rossa o è totalmente vengano e non vuole prendere un primo ma solo un secondo piatto Per il resto è stata una piacevole scoperta
