01/12/2024: We had booked for the 2nd round. When we arrived, seeing the place still full and waiting for a table, a little disheartened we were in doubt whether to leave! Instead it was a pleasant surprise!
The beautiful, charismatic and attentive energy of the owner accompanies good service and an excellent, quality proposal, dictated by mother's tasty recipes.
Highly recommended!

In addition to excellent food, there is passion, hospitality and a highly positive environment. It's always a pleasure to have the chance to return. I recommend booking in advance.

17/11/2024: We ended up here at 2.30pm when all the places in the area were fully booked but they managed to find us two seats here. Given the full house we expected unnerving staff and long waits. None of this. Staff at the table attentive, attentive, kind (hold on tight!), despite the bedlam. Reasonable wait for the gnocchi and the water and flour pasta with porcini mushrooms, excellent vegetables, fresh and well seasoned. House wine that goes down smoothly, no headaches afterwards. In short, fully promoted. They didn't even bat an eyelid when I said I was vegan, in fact they enthusiastically described all the vegetables available

At Zio you drink excellent beer, you eat delicious sandwiches, pinsas and plates. Zio's friendliness is unique, two laughs are guaranteed. Nice room covered in wood, very warm. The upper floor has a view towards the floor below. The entrance is beautiful with the tables outside and under a huge oak tree that covers the entire external area. What can I say, the best place to eat and drink

Posto informale con una cucina onesta, di casa, gustosa e generosa.
Cena su una terrazza con una vista incredibile, un tramonto da sogno.
Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia trascorrere una serata rilassante con buon cibo e buon vino.

18/10/2024: Avevo avuto qualche timore nell'organizzare questo pranzo con i miei 30 colleghi ma alla fine i timori erano completamente infondati. La location già la conosco da anni e quindi ero certo sulla qualità del cibo ma i dubbi erano su come avrebbero "reagito"
gli invitati (quasi tutti provenienti da RM). Ebbene siamo partiti con un accattivante aperitivo in bottaia per poi spostarci , ovviamente dopo le bellissime foto di rito tra le botti, al piano superiore per goderci un pranzo delizioso dove, tra passaggi continui dei camerieri per eventuali bis e rifornimento di bevande, ...ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati. Degna chiusura è stata la Torta finale accompagnata dal Solina. Dopo c'è stato un inaspettato via vai dei colleghi per comprare i vini della cantina per portarsi dietro un bel ricordo , tant'è che ho sentito ad un certo punto l'adorabile Sisto commentare "...ci vorrebbe l'ologramma di Sisto tra la cantina e la sala". Degna chiusura è stato il poterci godere il panorama esterno sorseggiando l'ottima Grappa barricata prodotta dal resort....il tutto senza fretta e senza stress ....in linea con la filosofia del grande Sisto che non finirò mai di ringraziare abbastanza.
24/08/2024: Location davvero bella, ottimo connubio tra parte storica e nuova costruzione, personale preparatissimo, cucina ottima ed abbinamenti vincoli che meritano, di sicuro da ripetere

03/01/2025: Locale senza insegna, per trovarlo abbiano camminato molto e siamo dovuti tornare indietro, usando maps.
Partendo dall'antipasto, trippa e fagioli abbastanza discutibili, anche melanzane e zucchine dal sapore strano.
Abbiamo preso due primi, con guanciale tagliato a tocchi enormi e crudo, nell'amatriciana il sugo non era cotto, anzi passata di pomodoro servita direttamente dal barattolo.
Dopo aver fatto notare l'accaduto, almeno hanno avuto l'accortezza di togliere il piatto dal conto.
