Lots of details, synonymous with quality to try with an adequate price ratio.
The varied menu based on grilled meat has good wine, to be discovered each time. Compliments. ....
What more can we say after a year, if not the reconfirmation of what has already been written

12/05/2025: I had decided not to write anything... but then upon reflection it wasn't right! On Easter day we went to this restaurant....they tell us to be on time so we arrive at 12.30 (a symptom of the quantum) room on the 1st floor smells of mold, as well as lots of bedbugs attached to the windows) and oh well... the glasses? Dirty not even clean, dusty and okay... the starter arrived at 1.45pm, we had a 2 and a half year old child 13.51, the first course for everyone, the steak from the children's menu (€40) at 2.45pm, incredible and the second course for the adults at 4.02pm. Without describing the food, why should I lay out not a veil but a quilt! The only note that can emerge were the waiters who really had difficulty in justifying what was happening and what it was.
Any advice? To forget... the renovation is something else, they collected more bookings than they could serve, and I'll stop here so as not to rage further because it's a great thing!!! Look, replying to your comment is not mean, in fact, I didn't write everything, it was advice for next Easter to improve, then if you rightly believe that I go out for lunch or dinner once a year, unfortunately you are wrong, so I can afford to write. Good day

27/12/2024: Non va considerato tanto un ristorante quanto un luogo di eventi.
Se questa è la considerazione, allora la recensione è per forza da 5 stelle piene!
Lavorare ad un evento col titolare Matteo è splendido: persona affabile ed esperta nella gestione, sa realizzare perfettamente il piano che necessiti curando insieme a te ogni minimo aspetto.
La location è una chicca stupenda, considerando specialmente che si trova in centro paese.
La ristorazione è impeccabile, con un rapporto qualità prezzo INARRIVABILE. Stiamo parlando di cucina di alto livello? No. Una cucina di tradizione, genuina, ben preparata, accompagnata dal giusto insieme di vini.
Il servizio una garanzia, vigile e attento.

Se volete organizzare un evento di successo questo è il posto ideale.
Già da più di 4 anni scelgo Villa Castagna per i miei eventi ed ogni volta il risultato è spettacolare.
Caldamente raccomandato!

The food is equally good, good typical Venetian cuisine... I would also say top quality and price.

I ordered a sausage and boiled potato pizza with a white base. Unfortunately, when I was eating it, I found the potatoes raw, making the pizza inedible.
I called to report the problem, but the response I received was anything but professional: I was told, in a sufficient tone, that the potatoes had been cooked, without advising me of any solution.
Furthermore, the pizza arrived 10 minutes late
Disappointing customer service experience.

I suggest updating the price list on the website to avoid unpleasant surprises for customers at the time of payment.

17/05/2025: Lunch with former colleagues in this farmhouse where a welcoming and relaxing environment awaits you in the middle of nature. Excellent cuisine with seasonal products and vegetables. The tagliata that melts in your mouth. Absolutely to try!

01/02/2025: Torniamo sempre con grande piacere perché l’accoglienza e’ sempre speciale e la cucina una garanzia di qualità. Tagliatelle al ragù d’anatra impareggiabili senza nulla togliere al coniglio! Piatti semplici, gustosi e abbondanti!

02/12/2024: Tutto buonissimo e la cuoca, nonché cameriera è stata gentilissima.
Carino, ma forse un limite per alcuni, è il menù fisso,non esposto e che non dà possibilità di scelta; sconsigliato quindi agli intolleranti.
Per noi, che non abbiamo tipologie di problemi, è stata una bellissima esperienza; mangiato benissimo e pagato un prezzo,rigorosamente in contanti, onestissimo.
10/11/2024: Posto molto intimo (solo 20 posti a sedere)
Il menù non si può scegliere ma è tutto ottimo e con cucina a vista!
Da provare!!!!
