Hotel Ristorante Tivet

03/08/2025: Hotel Tivet, located halfway between Aosta and Pila, is ideal for those seeking a secluded retreat (we needed one for our one-month-old daughter) and easy access to nearby towns by car. Its location also offers spectacular views of the mountains opposite. The hotel is surrounded by a garden with chairs, tables, and loungers where you can sunbathe and relax. There's also a jacuzzi/sauna, but we didn't use it. The staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Inside, the hotel is very well-maintained and tidy, both in the rooms and in the common areas. We stayed half-board and were amazed and satisfied with the quality and quantity of what was offered for breakfast and dinner. We hope to return soon!
03/08/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Ristorante Tivet for a week and were very satisfied. The location is perfect, just minutes from Aosta and convenient for reaching Pila and hiking. The family-run hotel is very clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food: generous portions, excellent food, and excellent value. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, Hotel Tivet is the place!

31/07/2025: Il menù è ambizioso e creativo, ma i risultati sono deludenti come per un capocollo immangiabile per la durezza. Il problema è che ci è stato risposto che forse avevamo denti sciupati…. Il coniglio invece era buono. I prezzi troppo alti
28/07/2025: Per qualità prezzo uno dei migliori locali in Valle d'Aosta. Menù che cambia ogni stagione, dolci fatti in casa e piatto del giorno (che cambia veramente ogni giorno, una rarità ormai) sempre allettante.
Le titolari onestamente poco propense a "sbattimenti" (vedere recensioni meno positive), ma per me è una certezza.

28/08/2025: Organized my son's 18th birthday, completely disappointing. The menu was decided months in advance with the owners and was not maintained because they mixed up the snack instead of the pre-arranged and pre-paid menu. For extra jugs of beer, we paid 250 euros. In short... I don't recommend booking parties in general.
24/08/2025: We just went to this place tonight, two people and two dogs.
1. Extremely friendly and attentive staff.
2. They let us dine in a quiet corner for our dogs.
3. Really spacious and beautiful location, with an outdoor pool that gives it a vacation feel.
4. We asked for something off the menu, and they were very kind.
5. We had two pizzas that were simply EXTRAORDINARY.
6. The bill was fair and even lower than the great quality.
It's hard to go out for dinner and find everything perfect. We managed it here.
As the last day of vacation, it ended very well. Well done everyone, you are excellent.

11/12/2025: I should start by saying that I went on the evening of the Immaculate Conception long weekend, so the place was packed, and the service was lacking for that reason. The lard with chestnuts was composed of two separate pieces thrown together incoherently on the cutting board. The meat was nothing special. The vegetable flan was good.
07/12/2025: After booking well in advance, we arrived at the restaurant and were told that my reservation had been mishandled and that we'd have to wait 1:30 for the first table.
I expected them to offer us a drink, but instead they asked us to make room...

15/03/2025: Madeline the Manager (prefers to be called Mad for short ) and the rest of his team are a real credit to a beautiful mountain restaurant.
The food is truly amazing but what makes this place so special is the most amazing genuine welcome you will find anywhere.
I've tried all the other Restaurants in Pila but if you want to find a real Gem of a place don't go any further.
Thank you so much Mad. Already booked my holiday for next year .

Un véritable bonheur gustatif et olfactive.
Merci beaucoup aux cuisiniers, aux conseils avisés du sommelier et aux serveuses.
Nous avons déguster des spécialités locales et des vins du val d'Aoste.

08/07/2024: Posto eccezionale, panorama da paura. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma quello che non dimenticheremo mai é il servizio (totale) di VERONICA. Buonissima la patata.
20/02/2024: Worst place I’ve ever been for service. No one to serve and totally ignored for 40 minutes. Might have been different if we were Italian. Avoid like a plague and then they might sort out their service and smiles.
